Beautiful 2 BR 2 BA Cabrillo 206 Phase 2

Cabrillo 206 brings together many desirable details in a truly attractive luxury vacation space. Its balcony spreads above the pristine Resort grounds at Las Palomas Beach and Golf Resort. Close by all of the Resort pools, lazy river, and the incredible beach truly takes you away from it all on your next seaside getaway.

The main room spreads out and combines leather seating and a TV in the living room space. There is a separate dining area with a table for six. Next up is the truly luxurious kitchen. It is defined based on a large curving kitchen island with bar stool. The kitchen offers fine wood cabinets, and appliances like refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dish washer. A living room highlight is the fold out Murphy style bed, that tucks away into its own cabinet.

The master bedroom and bathroom are connected, creating a small suite. There is a king sized bed, sliding doors to the balcony, TV, closet, and dresser. In the bathroom you find a grand double sink vanity, and asseverate bathtub and shower as well. The guest bedroom combines a king bed with a TV, dresser, and closet. The second bathroom is in the hall, with its showers stall and two sink vanity. Off of the hallway is a room for washer, dryer, and sink.

The balcony is truly superb. There are chaise lounge chairs, along with a dining table that puts you right where you the views are the best! Cabrillo 206 is on the second floor, in the building closets to the beach. The main pools are right below you here, and the beach is a very short distance.

Pros: -Location: Easy access to pool & beach-Balcony: Good patio furniture Cons:-Condo is outdated: Fridge has broken compartments, noisy washer/drier, the mattress needs to be replaced, not enough blankets. -Leak in the laundry room: there was a pool of water on the floor as we checked in. Called maintenance for repair. Issue was fixed but there was a mess left and the cleaning personnel did not come in until later that day after I called them. -Cleaness: Only saw the cleaning lady once and she only came to drop off toilet paper, paper towels, and 1 trash bag. She took the trash out. There was no cleaning other than what I mentioned. -Safety: I found a pill on the floor of the master bathroom. I am glad it was me who found it and I immediately discarded it. I traveled with 2 little ones and this is just unacceptable and unsafe. -Check in: I had to travel to a different location for check in. This property is affiliated with “casago” NOT las palomas. We didnt have room service and were unable to use towels offered by the pool. The owner does have 6 beach towels we were able to use and wash every night. Overall, I am not a “review” type of person but in this case I felt obligated to share my family’s experience and hopefully my feedback is used to make improvements. I would not stay again in this property.
