Wonderful place!

The property and location were beautiful! Carlos was very welcoming and friendly. It is very remote which was ideal. The views were breathtaking. The kids loved the pool and foosball. Would definitely recommend.

We were looking for somewhere quiet, very few other people, and we found it. We heard the occasional dog and a donkey in the distance. We were 400 yards away from the road, so no traffic noise. The villa has 2 good size bedrooms with plenty of storage and remote control dual fan/lights, a good size shower room with bidet, a nice open plan airy lounge dining room, and a well equipped kitchen with dining table. Outdoor pool, and two patio areas, one open with table and sunloungers, the second covered with BBQ. Plenty of distractions for those with children such as basketball, table games and lots of balls etc. Three cats were at the property, two belonged to the owners, the third was an interloper. Carlos visited, by prior arrangement, to feed the cats and change towels and bedding and he and his wife were very pleasant and informative. Supermarkets were about 20 to 30 minutes away, and we combined the shopping with a trip out, calling on the way back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Villa Tefía View

I use these reviews to help me decide on places to stay so I will be as honest as possible. My wife, and a friend of ours, have just spent a week at this lovely villa and had a very relaxing holiday. The first thing to point out is that it is isolated, no nearby shops, so if you are looking for somewhere to go out for a stroll in the evening it’s not for you. For us, however, this was bliss. No tourists, no noise, sheer relaxation. The villa has all the home comforts required for self catering. The main bed is massive and with an excellent mattress so a good nights sleep is assured. The mattresses in the other bedroom are of similar quality according to our friend. One slight negative, for us, was that the water in the shower, although warm, did not get hot; this may have been more noticeable as it was quite cool weather at times during our stay. It’s location is ideal for seeing the northern part of Fuerteventura and the beaches really are breathtaking. Betancuria is also well worth a visit. The owner, Carlos, communicated with us via WhatsApp. He sent a location pin in order to find the villa which worked well. He met us on arrival and showed us around the property, also leaving a welcome fruit basket, and a bottle of wine from his own vines, very nice too. He also sent me lots of eating out recommendations which proved to be accurate and useful. One suggestion, do a food shop on the way from the airport. Lidle is on the outskirts of Puerto Rosario, and it’s only a very short detour off your route. Can be found on Google maps. If you want a ‘get away from it all’ holiday this is your place. Would we return again? Definitely yes.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the quiet location. The host was also very helpful with tips about the area around the accommodation (e.g. shopping, restaurants). When booking, however, you should bear in mind that you love cats. We love cats, so everything was great!

Ruhiges Haus mit großem Außengelände

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in dem Haus. Es ist etwas abgelegen und bietet ein großes Außengelände. Unseren Kindern war nie langweilig, es gab viel zu entdecken. Alles war sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

'Geheimtipp' für indivuellen Familienurlaub

Idyllische Lage fernab der Touristenhochburgen in herrlicher Landschaft mit Raum für Ruhe und Entspannung sowie jede Menge "Spielplatz" für die Kinder. Zentrale Lage war super für Ausflüge in alle Ecken von Fuerteventura. Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ließ keine Wünsche offen.
