"The cabin itself was very nice, a little small but good enough for a couple, the jacuzzi is wonderful and the porch is really big but unfortunately for us, we didn't even manage to use it even once due to the number of midges, swarms of them from morning to night, it's not like you can just spray yourself with product and sit there, they are just too many all around for that.. But to be clear that is no fault of the owners, it is just a fact that midges at this time of year love this type of cabin as surrounded by bushes and trees and lots of humidity, perfect for them and horrible to us... The upside were all the beautiful creatures that come onto the porch to feed from the bird feeder, the squirrels were awesome and so athletic..we loved watching them. Also if you run out quickly and get into the jacuzzi the midges will leave you alone as you are mostly submerged so no problem using the spa tub but you have to be quick drying yourself and getting back inside unless you want to become a meal for midges. All and for all we had a great time and dining indoors was not a problem, good comfortable stay... Thanks to John who came very quickly to give us access to shed when we asked."
