We stayed for three nights at this hotel and wished our stay could have been longer. On arrival greeted by very friendly staff who spoke very good English which always helps - as no matter ho any times we try and use our limited Spanish we get tongue tied. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy - there was no kettle so we boiled water using a small saucepan which was no hardship. This is a resort and hotel that is used mainly by Spanish people and does not cater for the brits with regard to local English bars and food. However for me this was a breath of fresh air - the people were welcoming and it was a very enjoyable stay. Definitely hope to be back at the resort and would certainly recommend the hotel. Thank you Bahia Serena we had a wonderful few days with you.

We found this a hotel used mainly by Spanish holiday makers. The receptionists all spoke good english & the lounge area was very large under a 6 storey roof. Our apartment had both a lounge/kitchen & a well fitted bedroom, both with patio doors onto a balcony overlooking the pool area. We had a safe, hairdryer, cooker but no kettle.A tip when booking is to ask for a pool view room as these balcony's are sheltered from the wind. The higher the room the better. The restaurant had a good selection of food. Breakfast was excellent, the Dinner however was mainly for Spanish taste & although it had a good choice of meat & fish dishes was short of gravy & a selection of vegetables which the english enjoy. The hotel is right on the Promenade, which is 5 miles long, & next to the beach. During our stay we booked two full day trips with Pepe Tours. One to Cabo De Gata National Park & the other to the Sierra Nevada National Park & were excellent value. They both took you to see typical spanish villages in lovely countryside in different environments. We also caught the local bus for only 1:95 euro's to Almeria where we visited the Cathedral & The wonderful Alcazaba (the 2nd largest outside Granada) well worth the trip alone. A tip if you visit is to hire a Taxi at the Bus Station to the Cathedral (less than 4 euro's) then walk to the Alcazaba & slowly walk back through the modern town. Roquetes de Mar was plenty of bars & Restaurants & if we were to visit again we would use this hotel again but only book bed & breakfast.

Stayed with a large group for 7 nights .think I can say we all agreed accord was excellent.all checked in with ease nice views from rooms.staff excellent.did not eat in restaurant so can review. Nice food in most restaurants which are on your doorstep.sea just outside your door. Entertainment was focused to the Spanish plenty of shops local got ext on our room stay till 6 at a charge of 18 euro.would I re visit YES

This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel .we booked the same apartment ,the bathroom had been upgraded ,we asked for 2 sun beds to go on the large terrace overlooking the beech .these were bought up no problems .we wanted to go to the Spanish market in roquetas and it was a very busy morning ,we asked reception could they get us a taxi ,no problems turned up in 5 minutes .always very helpful ,the apartment was clean and we have booked again for later in the year .

Went for 4 nights all board with 2 friends in may. The food was fantastic and we even had bubbly at breakfast!!! Great location. Very friendly staff. The room was cleared snd fresh towels every day. The inside of the hotel is amazing. The pool area was lovely and clean and right onto a beautiful beach. Definitely recommend.

Stayed for nights room only and booked direct via the hotel. In summary its fantastic for the price, had room directly overlooking the beach, appeared freshly decorated, separate bedroom with 2nd patio door where you could sit in bed see and hear the waves. Very clean, nice linen and fresh towels. No kettle, but had read reviews and took my own travel kettle, all basic needs. Brilliant area with lovely spanish bars/restaurants. Management were excellent, allowed us to have early entry to the room and were always friendly and helpful. Peeked over the interior balcony to view the entertainment, as per previous travellers reviews its very Spanish, but didn't bother us as we prefer to go out or sit and watch the world go by from our balcony. The beach had sun beds which could be hired for 8 euros a pair. Local favourite bars/food were : Suzy's for lunchtime wine & Tapa's, In the evening it was Ana's & El Nido, all local restaurants served lovely food, great value & friendly. They were also helpful for Gluten free options. Would definitely return for short sunshine break.

Oh my!!! This is an old gal that is a beaut. She stand huge on the beach front line giving wonderful views. The apartment we had was wonderful, big, airy and bright. The hotel inside has the biggest internal lounge area which on our first night hosted a bird show. The birds are able to actually fly inside. Huge great owls and birds of prey. Oh I wish they had let the eagle have a go but I think the possibility he might fly off with a child in his talons might worry management. Excellent hotel in a lovely sea side town with loads to do.

This is a big hotel right on the beach, its a little dated but the rooms are clean, big and comfortable. There is entertainment on every night, dancing and singing although mostly Spanish. The swimming pool is huge, plenty of sun beds and a bar. There is also an indoor pool in case it clouds over. The hotel location is really good, on the beach and in the centre of Roquetas de Mar, easy walking to any number of bars and restaurants. We had bed and breakfast and found the food to be very good, the lunch and dinner looked excellent but we prefer to wander.

Having endured a seven hour flight delay on arrival at the hotel check in was quick & simple. Our family room was on the first floor overlooking the beach which was stunning. We stayed B&B with breakfast open from 7-10:30am & was of a basic standard. Room was large with two bedrooms kitchen & living room with a television (no English channels). Bathroom large, clean & good shower. Hotel staff were friendly at all times. There was a very nice bar area next to a children's amusement arcade. There was also live entertainment every night. Outside pool was not available as it was being filled up ready for the new season. There was a small heated indoor pool which was discibed as a BATH by the reception staff. Rooms were cleaned daily. Hard to find a parking space outside the hotel. The hotel was close to all local restaurants, bars & shops.

Our terrace was directly onto the beach view with wonderful sunrises Room was good -loved having the fridge No kettle but had taken one with me for morning coffee Had breakfast included. 6/10 for cooked as a bit greasy for our taste but I was content with cold meats and cheese Had parking included at a reasonable price but could have found a space on the street at this time of year. Tip - if you do use their parking drop your cases off first as there is a ramp at main entrance. If you go through the garage you have to contend with a few stairs
