Amazing place!
We loved everything about the Palms! The grounds are beautiful… especially the pool area with the infinity pool. We loved the free buffet breakfast every day and enjoyed high-quality, delicious dinners at your several restaurants m. We also appreciated the staff’s diligence when it came to enforcing masks and hand sanitizing. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi around the pool area/other public areas was not great… But in the hotel room itself it was fine. Loved the cucumber punch and shortbread cookies upon arrival… lovely touch. Would highly recommend recommend!!!!
Such a great property, awesome staff, food was great, swim up bar was the best, and the concierge was a big help. I didn’t see any recycling and the WiFi was spotty and slow in and around the property… so I rated them low there. Everything else was spot on. I would love to go back.
The beach
Of course the beach has amazingly soft, white and fine sand with clear turquoise waters as everywhere in Turks and Caicos (I assume), but the Palms is an amazing place to stay. The pool is immense (all the parts of the pool are connected) and the beach is so close it's easy to go back and forth. Everything is a little expensive (it's hard to get an entree or even a drink for under $20), but that seems to be par-for-the-course for Turks and Caicos. Service is excellent, though everyone is looking for a couple bucks tip, once you do tip everyone goes the extra mile and is happy to help. And they really will go the extra mile from the small (like laying out towels, water, and getting your chairs ready) to the big (helping you setup activities and excursions). The biggest example of the service was that my son had a painful allergic reaction in the middle of the night (first time) that was keeping him up and crying, when all the stores and shops that I could see were closed on the island. The security staff unlocked the boutique and grabbed Benadryl for us - truly above and beyond - and made a hellish night much better (we got sleep). Rooms are well appointed (our 1-bedroom suite had a full oven, burners, dish washer, washer and dryer) and quite luxuriously furnished.
The Palms was everything we hoped for and more. The staff, the pool, the beach - it was lovely and a perfect spot to visit T&C
Staff SO friendly and helpful. Top notch. Rooms spacious and luxurious. Breakfast a lovely touch.
A friend recommended The Palms to me based on their past trips to Turks and Caicos. Unfortunately, the service level and food quality must have dramatically deteriorated. We were visiting to celebrate a 50th birthday. The hotel is was unresponsive to all requests for help in making the celebration memorable. The food quality is amongst the poorest we ever experienced at “high-end” resort. Avoid at all cost.
Pro: All the rooms are suite style so its very spacious. The property also features an excellent spa service that you should try out. In addition, the food here is amazing. Cons: While the property is nice, it is a bit old. When there is a thunderstorm, you can expect power outages (I understand that this is a island wide issue).
Wonderful stay, will definitely stay here on my next trip to Turks. Staff was friendly and responsive, place is beautiful!
The location is superb and the staff is friendly and attentive.
