The inside was clean, bed comfy, clean sheets. The ceiling is awful though… sagging and in need of repair. We had to supply Kleenex and body wash, as there was none. If pics had been taken of the outside of the property, we would not have stayed here. Sketchy neighborhood with trash on the sidewalks and streets, broken glass and gang writing on many signs, buildings, etc. We did not feel comfortable walking to eateries. Internet service is not great if you have to work remotely. The WiFi was not as listed, but Robert responded quickly with the new one, easily resolved. The tv did go out suddenly, and Robert did fix it . Overall an ok stay, except for those few things.

The people who own this property have put a lot of care into it. It is definitely clean, the bed is comfortable. There’s some ceiling situations and you’re warm with just the use of space heaters. Again, they are clean. The futon is terrible, easy replacement or bring an air bed. The people who live upstairs, had a scary argument that lasted over an hour and it was super late, after midnight – – I was there with my 10-year-old and my five month old. My 10–year-old was sobbing in fear as she heard many foul words. I tried to reach out to the owner as I didn’t know if it was him and his significant other. I didn’t know what to do. He never responded to me. It was the next night that a neighbor clarified it’s someone that rents from him-possibly a relative. I feel bad because the argument was definitely one of financial stress so this isn’t an Awful review. It was just hard to navigate and explain to my child and not knowing the area or people-it had me on edge a bit. Didn’t know if the police should be called, didn’t know if we were safe, etc. Your parking area is in front of a dumpster where there’s obviously rodents scampering so I was nervous with my car as they like to climb into warm spots as the weather turns. The neighbors are all kind. I met the man who rents the garage which is part of the property. Hard working, good people. You’re safe and clean here-just a little bit of a coin toss with sleep with the upstairs people and comfort if you’re using the futon.

Overall a nice and comfortable place, but would love if:- A bolt and chain lock could be attached to the door, instead of just the electronic lock, as I didn't feel super safe!Also want to note that the bath mat doesn't dry, the coffee machine leaked and didn't work very well, and many of the dishes were still a little dirty there was hair in the shower.Otherwise, hosts were very responsive, attentive, and kind!

The room is actually under the owners house, I do believe. It is the basement with door on St. Walk onto sidewalk and cars come and go all night. The owner is very responsive and he brought me another heater. I was travelling alone for surgery follow up. I was exhausted from flying. The TV and Internet didn’t work so I called the owner and he gave me new password. The Internet worked but the TV never did. I wanted to sleep. The sheets were dirty, there was hair when I turned comforter back. I was too tired to contact anyone at that point so I just slept on top of the bed. The extra sheets were wrinkled and looked posted as they too had hair on them. The rest of the unit was clean and it is nicely furnished. However, there is ceiling work that was poorly done and a hole in the ceiling several places. I was kept up late 1st night by all the walking around upstairs. I figured out the closet that they keep locked is not actually a closet but a room that attaches to their garage. I did not feel 100% comfortable. I woke up once to what I thought was jiggling on the doorknob.

Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. 2 blocks from Atwell Street which is main drag on Federal Hill. Bed comfortable, safe parking full kitchen. Right at corner small Latino store to get some staples if needed. Would definitely go back

The property worked for our short stay, the parking was a huge advantage. The neighbors above us were loud and we could hear all their steps all night. Also, the internet was not as listed but once I got ahold of the host, we were able to sign in.

The apt was as pictured. It was clean and comfortable. Shower was good. We did not use the A/C or HEAT as indoor temperature was fine without either. We occasionally heard footsteps above us but it did not last long. Mostly it was very quiet. The bed is a FULL size not a QUEEN size which was a bit tight for two of us for 6 nights. The kitchen supplies seem to have possibly dwindled since original set up and could benefit from a refresh. 2 dinner plates2 mismatched glasses No serving bowlsNo baking dishes Nothing suitable to put in the oven to cook anything. No toaster. Did contact host via text when internet sign in and password didn’t work and they promptly texted an accessible one. Parking next to the garbage cans was a bit tight but do appreciate off street assigned parking and we made it work.

This was a great location to stay for a long weekend as our first trip to Providence! Upon arrival, we were unable to access the wifi - however upon texting the host, it was easily resolved. Although we ate out for our trip, there was a fridge/stovetop/microwave available for use. We would return!

Had a TERRIBLE stay here. First of all this is not a studio—it’s a crusty garage attached to a much larger home. We left after only one night (out of four booked) because there was a mysterious person clanging around in the service closet at 2am. Also the windows were glued shut, there was no functional AC/ventilation, and the fire alarm had been ripped from the wall. I politely requested a refund since we didn’t feel safe to stay, and two months later after countless calls with VRBO and messages to Robert, I still have received nothing in terms of a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Save your time and your sanity and avoid this place and Robert at all costs :)

Inside was very clean and comfortable. Just as advertised. The neighborhood was a little uncomfortable for my liking. The door was right on the sidewalk without any buffer. The parking was a little tight - and I have a small car. Overall it was decent- just not my preference. The host was very nice and communicated very well.

Gem in a great location

Our son was doing a program at Brown, and we needed a place to stay nearby, with the ability to work remote for the week. This was the perfect space for a couple, in a great location. Restaurants - and fab ice cream - within walking distance, and parking included in our rental. Plus, just a short bike ride across the river (and up College Hill) to Brown's campus. Wonderful and prompt communication from the host.

Bad communication and misleading discrimination

The host didn't communicate! The wrong code was sent. The TV didn't work and closet doors removed to a unsightly utility area. There was no top sheets on the bed. The last straw was finding a needle on a shelf under the TV. This is when he finally responded. We felt unsafe and had already left. He has ignored my messages and will not return or money. Bad experience WeWeWeWenever
