The rooms are outdated. The rugs are old and dirty. Staff was excellent. When I first got to my room the bathroom smelled like urine. After telling the front desk. Housekeeping re cleaned the bathroom and it was better. They accommodated me so I had a room near the front desk.

I have stay at Holiday Inn express in other states and this was the worst. The room smelld damp and like mold. The window locks were broken and not even attached to the window. There was a piece of metal screwed into the window sill so you could only open the window about 1inch. You could tell the place has not been renovated in many years. bathroom faucet leaked. soap container attahced to the bathroom wall was broken. bed was clean and comfortable mattress. We chose to find a restaurant out for breakfast as the choices were not that great. Coffee was ok. for the price, it could have been better.

One of the electric outlets didn't work. There was a switch that controlled nothing and no vent fan or heater working in the bathroom. Bed was fairly comfortable. Parking was easy. Breakfast was great. Staff was great.

A nice clean place overall. Only issues were the most convenient electrial outlets in our room were so loose, old or whatever that a plug wouldnt even stay in, or if it did made no connectiin. Nice fitness center, but a working TV would have made it perfect.

The area was nice and quiet, close to surrounding things, which made it easy for finding dining. The check in was quick, and the staff I spoke to was nice, however when going to our room, we realized we were given two queens instead of the king we booked. When asking the staff about this, they stated that Expedia was over looking so they needed to give people other rooms..I expressed to the staff that they should be transparent about this at check in, so when arriving to the room customers are not caught off guard. Also, the bathroom shower curtain rod looked as if it was broken, not allowing for the shower curtain to sit correctly from side to side, causing water to get on the floor due to not blocking the entirety of the shower. I was told the hotel was under new management, and I told the staff I understood and respected that, however being transparent and open at check in would go a long way with customers.

The property is decent. My room was not cleaned, but that is not why I would never say there again. A major safety issue: the front desk does not answer the phone! I went down and there were 3 people, 2 men and a woman, at the front desk and I said I had called. No one commented. I called again several times during my stay to see if they would answer. They did not. This is a safety issue. If one needs help, it is not available. I will go elsewhere where they answer the phone.
