The thermostats did not work. Could not turn it to heat and it ran on A/C all night. Had to put pillows over the unit to keep from being to cold. The plug by the bed was totally wore out. The side light and my phone charger would not stay in the plug. Kept falling out.

Excellent staff, very good rates but the property needs a whole refresh. The neighbourhood around the hotel is a little sketchy, it didn’t bother us but some people would not like. Surprising considering the outlet mall area is so close. Love the staff!

I booked and paid through Expedia for one night. I decided to extend the stay one night and was told, when I called the hotel to book another night through expedia for a similar room. I did not pay for the 2nd night because I wanted to make sure I could stay in the same room. When I checked in the 1st night, the front desk demanded payment for the 1st night, even though I gave them the confirmation number from expedia that showed I had already paid. The front desk would not extend my stay using the the 2nd expedia booking. They required me to check out before 11am and then re-register for the 2nd night. I told them that defeated my entire purpose, as I was going to up very late and the reason I booked the 2nd night was so that I could sleep past 11am. They let me stay in the room, but I had to get up, come down and pay before 11am. When I got home, I checked my VISA transactions and discovered that I was billed both by expedia and by the Travelodge for the 1st night. I called to try to resolve this and the desk clerk told me I would have to get the refund from expedia - ? I sent all the documents and an email to the hotel manager, and I'm waiting to hear back. My stay in the city was for medical reasons - surgery for a loved one - and I was not emotionally well enough to fight with the desk staff or change hotels. This hotel needs to do better.

Pros: friendly staff, very friendly guests. Reasonably quiet rooms, clean bedding, comfortable bed, pet friendly, security presence, free parking, smoking area Cons: very old building and it’s dirty, seedy area, Lobby is dark, room door locks continually beep after closing, room floors dirty- my white socks were filthy - no bathroom fan, advertised as full bath but no plug for tub and taps permanently set to shower, tv remote poor, windows filthy, room air conditioner too loud to run at night, no decaf coffee, restaurant offered nothing gluten free (how hard is it to have a gf loaf of bread in the freezer to offer gf toast with eggs?), miscommunication between expedia and front desk, some staff have poor English, my coffee pot had an old coffee pod in it so cleaning of room was poor

Property was unsafe and very unkept, garbage everywhere. Room was dirty and half the lighting didn’t work. Jet tub worked, but had to be cleaned before using. We were told there would be coffee to buy at 7:00am, but nobody in the restaurant. Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at.
