We booked 3 junior suite rooms for Idul Fitri holiday for IDR 650,000 per room per night. This is considerably reasonable during holiday & compared with other hotel in the same areas (I must say, there are no GOOD hotel in Tretes, mostly a bit dated or not well-maintained). Room size is okay, quite large. Junior suite gets a living room with a pair of chair (not sofa) & small dining table. Then there's another door to bedroom. Cupboard is old (better not put your clothes there). Bathroom has been renovated with new tiles & tap. Breakfast is verrryy average (we get buffet breakfast as this is holiday season - if not, you might only get ala carte breakfast, which is nasi goreng). Be careful of small lizard as there are quite some there & also its poo X_X. What I love most about the hotel is the view & how it's designed. Rooms were arranged in tier, so there are like 6 tiers of rooms with petite garden/gazebo in front of it. There are playground here & there, also separate adult & kids pool. Flowers & greenery are amazing, direct view to a mountain & lines of huge green trees.
1.While check/in. I am wait my room for more than 2 hours,to get ready *i had work in 5 stars hotel, i know how should it works* 2.After i realize the Standard Room is using a fan i am decided to upgrade the room to Deluxe which using the AirCon by settlement an additional charge. But when we got the room, Surprisingly the AirCon is not working so i paid for NOTHING! *even a fan i didn't get it . And i am wait until night to get those confirmation . 3.The odor of toilet, but not too inconvenience me ..i can close the door 4.When we try to get relax with drink some tea, the water heater also leak .. Perfectly ! But in the other side, The Manager and the entire staff have a good respect and so politely .. Thank you
the location of this property is good with a view of mount arjuna hill..the building is very old and need a renovation in some part of the room..breakfast is good, but the most important is the hotel had very good service from their staff for guest.
view, food and hospitality were superb. room was old, stain in bathtub for both room 37 and 38. old furnitures. dont be surprised, you will be accompanied with an unwanted room partner, it made noise when you closed the cupboard. we had to rush to next door room seeking for help. the bellboy was very helpful, after sharing the bad paranormal experience, he helped us to shift our bags to another room on that nite itself.
Really old hotel. Everything about it is old and dated. The furnitures, the bed. The tv. The cupboard was faulty. The shower head was dirty. One of the toilet lights wasn't working. The only saving grace were the attentive staff (probably because there weren't many guests). Big swimming pool. The garden was better taken care of than the room.
i stayed here with my family but unsatisfied about the building and staff, they need to check the room.before the guest come inside the room, leaking everywhere, building to old, many bugs, bed was dirty and unconfortable, many problem in this hotel, but covered by mountain view..this hotel operated by inna, i hope inna will take aware about this property
This is an old hotel on top of a hill. Checked into a room which was run down. Room size was big but furnitures looked worn and dated. Closet door didn't work. Facilities in the bathroom were functional but you wouldn't want to stay too long inside. Too dim! However hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Swimming pool was well maintained.
I love inna tretes. It so peacefull. I like to sleep there. The pool also nice. And the room service very kind.bdbdbdhdjsjcusjsjdidjshhddjdbdhcuggdjsjvjdjsifjsnjcksdbjvjdbiksksnsmskskskskksksksndjdjdkdkjvkdlalsllshohohoohohkekekekwkekekekekekekekekekekkwkwkwwkkw. im so crazy
We book STANDART ROOM (IDR375.000) on this hotel 1 week prior our vacation and even long weekend we still can reserve the room, maybe because the location in Tretes is not attractive anymore for some people to stay (new tourism location is on Malang-Batu with new amusement park and hotel grow there). But actually this is what we would like to spend, a quiet vacation far from crowded people. Arrive there in the middle of the rain, the security man help us to drop our bags from cars and after check in he assist to carry our lunggange tour room. The location is good, we can see the mountain scenery, a lot of small garden, and each hotel's rooms is arrange in open space facing the garden/outside scenery. So not just like a face a face room inside the building. The standart room is very spacious large, have it's own guess room with table and chair. But room air taste smelly...feel someone has been smoke there. So we open the door/window to let fresh air in. The room is look old, stain paint. The twin bed is old too, feel very soft when we lay on it. Bathroom with wastafel and bathtub and noisy exhaust fan on the wall (but actually it help to freshen the air more quickly). WHAT....?? HOT WATER is avalable from 5am-9am and 5pm-9pm (so you must hurry take a bath during that time or you may enjoy freezing cold water).Old wooden cupboard in front of the bathroom (which is our children keep play for hide n seek). But remarkably the room is in clean condition, hard to find the dust on it. Just everything is so old and need for renovation. There is no hot water jug maker, so we try to ask from kithen and they only provide 2 glass of it ! We try to ask again a hot pitcher/canister and they dont have it !! (WHAT A hotel which dont have a pither ??) But then they give a jar of hot water, ohh well wnough to make a hot milk for our children. The swimming pool is SO GREAT. Very cool water, icy mountain but so fresh. They have 2 pool, 1 big/main fool up to 4M depth (Beware when swimming.I wonder what they used for...) and small children pool. Some fish pool & playground also avalaible for your children to play, indeed for children the garden is fun. But in the night we are hardly to sleep because some traditional DANGDUT ORCHESTRA music is play outside in the garden so hard that echoed inside our room. The morning breakfast is so plain, just chicken soup (with no chicken we though), fried chicken, fried ride (nasi goreng), fried noodle (bakmi goreng). On the night you can find easily a chinese restaurant by walking not to far to main road. So this hotel actually good for backpackers, infact it may too expensive for what we actually get from there. But it's worth it just for a 1 night retreat, with fresh air and mountain scenery (you can see the scenery on the main lobby/restaurant). WIFI connection is avalaible on the lobby . By the way because the hotel's location is kinda outdoor with hilly ladder, IS NOT RECOMENDED for disable people who may use wheelchair. Just dont hope too much from this hotel !
This is a pretty hotel set in gardens in the old Dutch hill station of Tretes. We went during Ramadhan so it was very quiet, but I understand the town can get very busy as other times. The hotel has seen better days really but the rooms are fine and the very large swimming pool is great. Food within the hotel is on the pricey side, however there are lots of local restaurants within walking distance and an ok buffet breakfast is included in the rate. We got a very good rate of 250,000rp by approaching the hotel directly. Although I liked the hotel I wouldn't reccommend paying too much more than this.
