I only stated one night, everything clean and staff pleasant, couldn’t get any WiFi and phone reception was non existent, I had to go outside to speak to my husband, not very good as a lone female traveler and as no WiFi this was more inconvenient. But apart from that a nice stay, tea and coffee in room. Nice clean shower area, plenty of towels.

I was a little apprehensive due to the reviews, however I had a great stay. Check in was easy, Robert on the desk was great and chatty. Room was easy to find and maybe I got lucky, room was perfect for my requirements. A large TV, fridge, modernised bathroom, black out curtains, appeared to be a recent carpet, and a comfy bed. Heating was easily adjusted at the radiator. Hotel was quiet.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times, it was bad but I kept going because of the staff at the restaurant, they were very friendly and helpful but staying last weekend was horrifying, amiss the bad weather and the fact that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, bar and restaurant was closed and with no warning. I managed to book myself in a family room 😩, it was two single beds joined together with the most thinnest mattress, it felt as if you were lying on an empty spring bed. Fair enough the room was just been refurbished but only the walls and bathroom, bed was crap
