With Scorton village nestling at the foot of the Bowland Fells just 1½ miles away, there is easy access to the Forest of Bowland (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where guests can enjoy walks on the fells or drive through the beautiful Trough of Bowland.

There is a highly rated traditional country pub serving food just 400 yards away from the cottage. A wider range of amenities can be found in the nearby historic city of Lancaster, 8 miles away; here you can visit Lancaster Castle, museums or even the Butterfly House at Williamson Park. Windermere, Kendal and the South Lakes are just a 40-minute drive.
