This was far and away our favorite stay of our ten days of travel through Italy. Praiano was a lovely alternative situated perfectly between Positano and Amalfi. The hotel was so kind and welcoming to us. Chiara at the front desk was a gem of a human, so sweet, made my daughter and I midnight decaf cappucinos at the bar when she couldn't sleep. The other staff, bellhops, shuttle drivers, desk clerks, bartenders, were All so very kind to us. Giuseppe, Dimitri, and others we remember by name because they were so nice to us. The pool was open 24 hours, and this was our only hotel with fitness equipment. The view from the restaurant / cocktail bar was unparalleled, and they had their own lemon trees and limoncello on site, and a delicious full menu of included breakfast options (eggs, bacon, fresh juice, etc, not just coffee & pastries). They gave us rides to dinner and the beach, and they gave me perfect directions to walk the Path of the Gods, a highlight if i ever experienced one. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was eco-conscious, providing us with reusable beach bags and refillable water bottles, and so forth. Everyone in our family agreed this was our favorite hotel of the trip and we were very sad to leave (and we stayed two more nights down the road, to try two different hotels since we weren't sure beforehand, and though our other hotel was also lovely, this one was far and away the best of the trip). Thank you Hotel Margherita! We will see you again!!
I will stay at this Hotel every time I visit the Amalfi Coast. It’s in a perfect and low key location, hotel and staff are extremely accommodating, and the room and amenities are extremely comfortable. Can’t say a bad thing about this hotel. For the people who say their rooms were noisy: Don’t be haters, that’s what happens when you stay at hotels. Especially, at hotels in Italy.
From before we even arrived the entire staff was helpful in arranging reservations for our trip. Upon arrival we were given a rundown of the area and had all questions answered. Breakfast is great, coffee is superb and the helpfulness is unparalleled. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area!
It was a lovely experience! Everybody was wonderful and very courteous. They did everything to accommodate us and make us feel at home. Breakfast and dinner were phenomenal! Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I go to Amalfi coast again.
Nice and cozy hotel with beautiful views. Perfect location to explore the Amalfi coast. Super friendly staff. They were always ready to help us with any thing. If back to Amalfi I would stay here again.
