Best Value for Money in Prague

Everything was just perfect. We got to the check in location to pick up the key, then when we arrived at the apartment, we were surprised to find out that everything was just perfect. Would recommend to anyone Xx

Great location, a bit run down

I stayed here with my two daughters for 3 nights. Location wise these apartments are ideal. They could do with a little sprucing up and the sofa bed I slept on was painful. The added touch of a shower head instead of a tap in the kitchen was a bit odd... But for the price, space you get and having a kitchenette (and the location!) I'd happily stay again.

The theatre 11 was very clean and nice. What was very uncomfortable was that we were NOT told Before the non refundable purchase that the check in location is a cab ride to the room. Would have never found it if we had taken the tram because there were no real directions. That is Very Bad advertising. Good thing I had a local we were visiting to get us there. So the place was nice enough even though loud late into the night but they should have disclosed the check in location. It’s hard to navigate in a new place not knowing the language

accommodation in central , no complaint

I am not agree about taking 5000 krona deposit & hotel will back our deposit by 10 days. It makes us worry until we received our money back. Now we are in UK & Hotel is in Prague pulse currency difference rate. etc Our flight way back was 6.40 am but Gray line keep telling us that our service does not start until 5.00 am, By the time they pick up other peoples I am sure we will missed our flights. Need proper communication. We had so much hassle for pick up, we went for holiday for that reason we booked package holiday. second issue was gray line drop us only one place, we picked up key from hotel & our accommodation was 25 minutes walk. I am not impressed atoll.

the hotel was okay, just found it silly we had to go collect our keys from other side of the river, to then go back to the apartments, but the biggest disappointment was that the transfer, dropped us off and not even at the right hotel! then we had to get a taxi to get the keys which cost us £60! never using them again

This apartment called me in the morning of the day I arrived, ask me to pick up the key at the different locations, which is far away from the apartment, and at the booking hotel information didn't say anything about it, if I have known this, I wouldn't book this apartment. And I complained to this apartment office which it owned by a hotel group in Prague, and it claims the Expedia.com has responsible to show on the info, I don't know who to blame on this issue. Anyway, later on other people who has stay in this apartment came has no clue, and didn't get the phone call either, and couldn't find the way in, and they were lucky to meet me out for smoking and tell them how to get the key from the office in other location. Well, if I didn't smoke that much, they'll have to sleep on the street.... I think if something is unusual for the normal hotel or apartment, Expedia should have written it cleared And maybe even with a warning.

Run down area, lots of grafitti. Rowdy clients. Room size, ok. Room was not in good condition, not upgraded as advertised. We had no instructions as to how to get in building. We finally phoned the manager. She said we were supposed to pick up key from their office. We had not been made aware of that from hotels.com or from the manager. She charged us $20. 00 for bringing us the key. I feel Hotels.com should reimburse us for that cost. This is the second time owners of places from Hotels.com have charged extra for something we were not responsible for. We are getting suspicious as to whether Hotels.com is appropriately vetting rental properties. Margie Jetter

Close to restaurants but noisy neighberhood

Its close to the Natiinal theatre and a 15min walk to thebCharles Bridge. 5 mins walk from the main road. In the day time generally quiet and respectable. But at night after the restaurants close and the bars open lots of noisy merry makers making it difficult to sleep. The room is generally ok. Larger than i expected but the floor wasnt cleaned properly. I found contact lens on the floor from the previous tenant. I could not be sure that the bed sheets were cleaned and had to bring them to the laundromat nearby to have them cleaned. Opposite of a construction site.

Strangely managed by the hotel company.

Booked an apartment & a friend booked one also a week after. Completely different parts of the city. Mine was booked for 4 people yet it was a cramped room and the lounge with a sofa bed. 'My friend booked for 2 people yet had 2 bedrooms and 8 beds. Makes no sense.

Great location

Stayed in Old Town Apartments, which were located right in the centre of all the tourist destinations. Friends booked the same and ended up in another seperate apartment across in the new town. Make sure you specify where you want to stay when you book!!

Most bang for your buck!

Great stay and exteremly comfortable and roomy. Perfect place to stretch out and relax! Had a nice time and enjoyed the proximity to all the great sights and locations.

Roomy unit in central location.

Initially a bit of a hassle collecting the key from the other side of the river, especially when not knowing Prague and it's transport system. Once we collected the key much important important information was given which made it all so much easier. The unit was great. All necessary kitchen gear was present. Great location! Overall, I probably should have done more homework prior to arriving in Prague, which would have saved a little anxiety. Bottom line was that this apartment was value for money.

Nice last minute upgrade to a different apartment

We have a larger apartment in a different building but close to the original one. The main problem was to get the key from a the office, shich is 2KM from the apartments so it required two trips in order to be in the apartment.

Very good value

Excellent location, 5 minutes from the National Opera and 10 minutes walking from the Old Town Square. We got a one bedroom flat for 4 of us, and it's good enough for 4 adults, fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom and very clean. There's even another single sofa bed if you wish. The sofa bed is a bit squeaky but I was told the main bed was roomy and very comfortable. We would be staying there again if we come back to Prague.

This apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. The beds in the bedroom were very hard. 1 1/2 bathrooms were convenient. As others have stated, the key has to be picked up across the river, which was not really a big deal for us since we had a car. The apartment was a little difficult to find and we had to park pretty far away (500 Krone per day) as there is only resident parking next to the apartment. The neighborhood seemed quiet, and the location is pretty good, but I would not say within walking distance of sights. You would either have to take the metro or take your car and park closer, which we did.

Location and spacious

Location is nearby the places you want to visit and still in a quiet neighborhood with some local restaurants around. It is very spacious for two people. They should have indicated better that keys needs to be collected in a different direction. I advise to take their shuttle offer: for 22 euros they will pick you up at the airport, bring you to key collection place and bring you to the apartment. 17 additional euros for a shuttle back to the airport.

The apartment was in a good location.

It was good accommodation with all the necessary facilities situated within walking distance of the main sights. Unfortunately the transfer from the airport did not drop us at the right location, and it took time to locate the place! Collecting the keys from the hotel was a problem and caused further delay. In saying that it was useful to be able to leave our bags at the hotel for the last day and they were very helpful. Overall a great break which was thoroughly enjoyable :-)

Good location

The price and the location are good. Keys need to be picked up on the other side of the river, same as car parking. Apartment was not very clean, sofa is a bit dirty, bathroom has a hole in the wall. Kitchen is nice everything you need is there. The building smells of marihuana all the time, lots of noises and music from the streets.
