Great hotel overall. Structure was a bit dated and windows could use a good cleaning but those are quite trivial comments. Bedroom was great and the view from 411 is lovely. Bathrooms could do with a slight upgrade though to reflect the rest of the room.

The President Hotel Prague while markets itself as a 5-star hotel, did not fully align with that standard. The room design left much to be desired in terms of functionality. There was a noticeable lack of storage space — no commodes or shelves — and the overall room layout felt inconvenient. It was also difficult to find accessible electrical sockets for charging devices, which is a small but significant frustration for any traveler. The Wi-Fi connection was weak and unreliable throughout my stay, which further impacted convenience. Additionally, one of the wardrobe hinges was broken, which contributed to a feeling of neglect in maintenance. Another downside was the absence of a gym. While the hotel does offer a SPA, it is not the same for someone who just need a short exercise and not a fancy procedure and obviously short from what one might expect from a 5-star property. On a more positive note, the hotel enjoys a great location, with easy access to many key attractions in Prague. The bar on the 6th floor offers a pleasant atmosphere and is staffed by friendly personnel. Overall, The President Hotel Prague currently falls short of delivering a true 5-star experience due to the accumulation of small, yet impactful issues.

Upon arrival I felt welcome, Nothing short of outstanding from the staff. However. The room that I had booked was not the room I stayed in. I was up charged for a room. The air wasnt working in the room and it was wildly hot throughout my stay. Outside of that it was a nice hotel.

Worst pillows on the planet. Seriously crap pillows from Motel 6. Thought this was going to be a 5 star hotel experience but the beds have the OUTDATED individual bedspreads for each person which is pure madness. Sheets were crap. But then again, the hotel was half the price of The Four Seasons which I had previously stayed at in Prague. Truly unlikely to ever go back because at the beginning and end of every day you stay at hotel FOR SLEEP. My sleep was miserable because the bed sucked, the bedding was crap and the pillows were truly deplorable. Truly worse pillows in the last 10 years. Made my stay miserable as a result. Get a grip. You spend $100 million to build a hotel and you blow it this way. Fire the designers & management as a result or fix it. Wake up. On a positive note, glorious hotel in a perfect location for moving about but not near anything practical if you need that. The hotel's elevators are dysfunctional, every floor is a "half floor" requiring you to go up / down stairs if you pick the wrong elevator. Idiotic design as a result. Zero desk. Means worthless hotel for business travelers. How the hell can you work? You can't. Typical stupid bathrooms for Europeans. Glass door divider to the shower. Always a nightmare. Bathroom was rather small, but hey, all in all it's a great hotel if you can deal with the other issues. The rooftop bar however, is a gem of all gems. Dollar for dollar best hotel I could find in all of Prague City Center.

I recently stayed at the president and overall, I had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is absolutely fantastic—perfectly situated within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual bite, fine dining, or exploring local boutiques, everything is just steps away. The staff were another highlight of my stay. They were friendly, accommodating, and genuinely seemed eager to assist whenever I interacted with them in person. Their warmth made me feel welcome throughout my visit. However, one area of improvement is their responsiveness to calls and messages. Before arriving and even during my stay, I found it frustrating that no one answered the phone or responded to chat inquiries. Even when calling from the room, the front desk often went unanswered, and I had to contact walk down to resolve issues and requests. Despite this hiccup, the overall experience was great, and I would still recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. If they can address their communication challenges, it would elevate the guest experience to perfection.

Great place to stay

The President was a great place to stay. It’s on a higher priced range but has good spa, excellent breakfast, restaurant and bar too. Close walking distance from old town and Karluv bridge. It’s right by the river and has great views from the hotel. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Only negative is that the shower in our room didn’t have a glass door and the water sprayed all over the floor in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will consider to stay again in the future.
