_______ The room was really great, the bed was super comfortable and everything was super clean. The hotel's location is simply perfect, in the city center, next to Wenceslao Square and 10 minutes walking from Tyn Square. The hotel staff was awesome, really nice and kind, always there to help you. They sell transport tickets and many other things, ask them! The hotel restaurant is perfect, everything is really good and tasty and the waiters, waitress and chef were superb!
This small hotel is very confortable. It is very clean, the rooms have a good size and the bathrooms have Rituals amenities. They also gave for free two bottles of water for your stay and you have the option to have breakfast until 11p.m., so you don't have to worry if you want to sleep a little bit (or a lot) more :D Just a couple of things, if you are very tall, specify that to the staff before your arriving as some of the top floor rooms have a beautiful (but problematic) mansard roof and in those parts the roof is very low (I had to be very careful in the shower). The other thing, if you follow Google Maps to go from the train station to the hotel, be careful not to take Ve Smečkách street as it's full of night clubs and cabarets and in top of that it's more complicated to reach from there. It's better to take the next street going down Wenceslas Square. The staff marvelous, they made our stay much easier and happier (they even sell you the tube/bus/tram tickets).
Conveniently located, lovely room, attentive staff -- everything was great. My room wasn't quite ready when I got back at 3 pm for check-in, and they gave me a free drink in the restaurant/bar while I was waiting for the room. It wasn't necessary but it was a nice touch.
Thank you to the Icon hotel , I really had a good time Located close to the center of the city , very good rooms , modern design , breakfast from 6.00 AM to 11.00 PM , yes true you heard it Almost 24 hours breakfast , so this was really amazing The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and they make the effort to insure you are being taken care of Big thanks to Damien from the reception , he was very nice and friendly , I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Prague solo like me
Lovely small quiet clean hotel. Staff are very helpful. Continental breakfast but able to request Omelette eggs sausages and bacon. Free City map. Wenseclas square 3 minutes walk 10min walk to Old Clock Tower. Staff can direct you to No.22 Tram to take you up to the Castle. Tram tickets on sale at reception.
Enjoyed the location -not being in the center of all the congestion, but a quick walk away from restaurants and Old town....Hotel was a modern design and had a very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite good, and our stay was comfortable - only downside, was the a/c was not great anywhere in the hotel (and it was a hot, summer week) or we would have eaten in the restaurant and visited the bar more often - but they did give us a fan in the room, which helped us sleep comfortably.
We stayed here for 3 nights during our Prague visit. The decor is very trendy and the staff could not have been friendlier! Every person at the front desk spoke great English and helped us with everything from maps, laundry, daily restaurant and site suggestions to organizing stamps and posting our postcards. Nothing was too much for them and they always greeted us with big smiles whenever we got back. The room was very big with ample cupboard space and comfy beds. The bathroom was also very spacious (but the water pressure for showering wasn't very strong). The passage decor was very funky and the rooms are sound proofed. Breakfast was included which was a choice from the set menu - a bit limited but still tasty and fresh. The hotel is super central with restaurants, coffee shops and sites a very short walk away. There is a bar to the right of front desk that is a super start before going out - the drinks are also very well priced. Another plus is they have a computer for guests to use at reception. The hotel is down a narrow road and undercover parking is offered a few meters away for €30 per day. Icon is a super central and funky hotel that is made even better by the genuinely passionate and attentive staff! I highly recommend it.
We stayed there 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff at the reception was super nice and friendly. The rooms are big and modern. 2 minor points were the noise from the hallway was hearable sometimes and the breakfast selection for vegans and vegetarians could be improved. Besides that we would go there again!
I have stayed at this several times over the years. A boutique property, the rooms are great the location is fantastic and it's in walking distance to all the best that Prague has to offer. The staff is great and amenities are good.
Stylish hotel, centrally located, interesting history. Well done: < 15 minute walk from train station, on a quiet street (rooms were quiet as well), super friendly and helpful staff, well-appointed rooms (comfy beds, wi-fi worked well, in-room safe, nice toiletries, good water-pressure), nice breakfast buffet (including eggs as you like) OK: corridors were stylish, but a bit too dark; maid missed replacing a 2nd towel one day Overall, a great stay - would definitely stay at the Icon again.
