Panorama Hotel Prague4.0 out of 5.0

This is just an average and relatively old hotel. It does not mean that it's bad. Rooms are clean and quiet (I had a room in front of the elevators and I did hear anything from the corridor). You can open the window and breathe some fresh air. Staff is friendly, helpful and even smiled (which in Eastern Europe is not that obvious). There is no free water in the room. I did not know that tap water is good to drink, it would be nice to provide that information. Also it would be great to have a possibility for some tea in the room, but there's only mini bar. Another disadvantage of old hotels is the lack electrical sockets, there is no chance to connect the computer at the desk! Breakfast is also very average, the choice is not very wide and of mediocre quality (coffee really could be better) and waiting staff is not cleaning the tables, just placing fresh silverware. All this sounds as a complaint mainly due to high price. I paid over 130eur per night (room with a view to a new office building nearby), and I get that Prague is expensive, nevertheless for that money I would expect a bit more.
Nice and clean hotel, nothing special. The rooms are clean, inexpensive. The hotel is located near the metro. Breakfast is included in the price. Receptionist responsible, can tell where and what can be found in the city
I was in the hotel to use the wellness and suddenly my pants were lost, the hotel could not tell me if someone had taken them, they did not take care of me and they intended to go home in my underwear. They said they would call me but they never did and when I called them back they said they could not do anything, just give me free entry, but I already have free tickets because I paid a membership ... That had never happened before and I've been in many hotels around the world.
Stayed in Panorama with a group for 2 nights. Room size was okay for 2 people, clean with basic toiletries. Buffet breakfast was adequate and offered variety. Can be busy and full between 7am to 8am. Located outside of the City Center/ Old Town, there's a metro station and mall nearby.
Decor is a throwback to the eighties. Metro stop close by, in the Shopping Mall (only 5 mins walk). Room facilities vary considerably so be sure you check what is included (no tea or coffee making facilities in our room although other rooms had them at the same price. Extremely confusing bill on leaving because it is given to you in Euros-you have to ask for a separate bill in the local currency (Czech Koruna) even though the Czech Republic is not in the eurozone. Hotel food pretty tedious so mostly ate in the Old City or a nearby Italian Restaurant.
Just returned from 4 night stay for a reunion. This hotel is only 3 stops on the tram from the centre, easy and quick. Adjacent is a large shopping mall with all the names you would expect anywhere and good food outlets, especially the pizza restaurant upstairs in the corner. Walk thru the all to the metro. Our room was on the 7th floor and away from the building g site next door so it was quiet. Spacious with small ensuite, no toiletries only cheap bath soap in bath, with a notice telling us not to shower outside the bath, if we did we would be charged €200 !!! Breakfast buffet was excellent, plenty of choice. On check in, the staff were efficient but not very friendly, however it was at 230 am due to delayed flight at Stansted airport. Very busy with business guests so reception staff constantly busy, girls more helpful than the boys! Overall, good, modern hotel with easy links to centre.
I was here with a large group, we all enjoyed the hotel. It's so convenient next to a large nice shopping center and a metro station. Our room was a nice size, spotlessly clean, comfortable king size bed and quiet. Don't miss the great breakfast buffet. We also used the gym on the top floor which is well equipped with a great view.
Currently staying at this hotel. Rooms are dated and noisy from local building works. They feel like they were last renovated in the 1990s. The casino staff are awful. Incredibly rude and obnoxious. Definitely better value elsewhere.
As we arrived we where quite disappointed, the guy at the reception just ignored us, after waiting for our turn to check in, he just took care of an other guest which came later. We than went to a lady at the other end of the reception, which was very gentle, kind, fast and very competent. Thank you, you saved the visit card of the hotel! Hotel very comfortable, good metro connection. Room nice and clean. The ladies at the restaurant and the bar are very nice and very friendly.
Good location, just near a metro station (4 stations to the center) and a mall. The room was clean and the breakfast was great, variety of options. At the beginning our room wasnt ready so they wanted to give us a different room but we rathered to wait for our room and get lunch at the nearby mall, nothing seriously, the staff was nice and helpful.
