We enjoyed this hotel and will stay again. Its location suited our purpose very well. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. It is beautiful and well maintained. However, I would not buy the buffet breakfast again. The options for a pescatarian or vegetarian were limited or non-existent. The cheese was mediocre. Some of the food was prepped in advance which one might expect but seemed dried out.

We were very disappointed with the five-star Iran Hotel and Suite.After uber driver dropped us off, he admitted he didn’t know where the hotel was either. We had to ask two people for directions, and finally dragged our luggage down a rough cobblestone street to find it. The hotel’s sign was so small it was almost invisible; after quite a bit of wandering around, we finally located the entrance. By the time we arrived, it was already 10 p.m. The front desk staff were unfriendly and extremely slow, making us feel unwelcome. We had booked three rooms in total. The first one was acceptable;The second room, located on the first floor, was damp and smelled of mildew. When we asked to change rooms, the receptionist demanded an extra €30. After 40 minutes of negotiation, they finally agreed—reluctantly—to switch us to a room of the same category; The third room was tiny, right next to the street, and unbearably noisy at night. Fortunately, the front desk lady on duty the next morning was kinder and helped us move to a slightly quieter room.What was most unacceptable was that the hotel clearly had available rooms but refused to change ours unless we paid more. This is absolutely not the standard of service one expects from a five-star hotel. When we checked out, we discovered an unexpected “service fee” added to our bill. It was the first time we’d encountered a front desk charging this kind of fee. Overall, the front desk service was poor and the staff lacked professionalism.

Very cute hotel in the heart of Prague Old town. Location was quiet, and just around the corner from the old town square. Our room had a small balcony with flowers, great for relaxing during the evening. Room was spacious for 2 adults and a child. There was a pull out sofabed in the living room area. Breakfast was always good with a variety of food. Dinner at the Deer restaurant was one of the best we had in Prague. Would stay here again. It was very convenient for all the sites we wanted to see.

I didn't drive in nor did we shop. It's right off of old town square so it's very convenient for tourists and the tower suite has a view of almost every landmark in that part of the city. The staff were very helpful and even communicated with me on WhatsApp to update me on a request. It was a great stay.

Absolutely wonderful! This hotel is basically perfect. It is in the best location you could ask for and the rooms are absolutely stunning. The service was impeccable and the Deer restaurant was tasty. I can’t say enough great things about Iron Gate.

Very close to the heart of Old Town area. This was an unexpected find via Expedia. The restaurant on location was very good. Service at the front desk and the experience checking into the room was a great experience. The room itself has a combination of "old town" charm with a few modern amenities. A lot of space in the room and an excellent view into the central garden. Would love to have stayed longer.

The hotel looks very good , it has excellent location but it was so loud, i was not able to sleep until 2am! When checking out I discovered that unexpectedly some service fees were added without me knowing it or agreed to it...it was added automatically gratification for services provided...so they made the decision how and how much tips they which is the hotel should get. I did not like it. If I like I can give the tip as I wish. I will think twice before I will stay there second time. The noises were the biggest issue. I paid for " better" room and got noise for the price.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. While the atmosphere is perfect for Prague and the old style blends in well with the whole city, the bathrooms could use some renovations or a face lift. The breakfast was good but a bit underwhelming for a 5 star hotel. The staff at the reception were very nice and helpful, however, it was not possible to get an additional pillow in the evening, which was a bit surprising. Overall we had a good stay in Prague and the location was excellent!
