We stayed for 3 nights in November. The staff were really helpful - especially Richard and Jakub. The hotel was clean and welcoming. I loved the way it was decorated - magical! The room was comfortable, and though you could hear the rumble of the trams it was not very loud and did not cause a problem. There was a good choice of food for the breakfast and it was alll very nice. The hotel is in an excellent location for viewing many of the sights. The number 22 tram stops right outside and this will take you to the castle if you don't want to walk up. Charles Bridge, Petrin Hill, Our Lady Victorious Church, and the Old town are all within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel. It made our stay in this beautiful city all the more perfect.
The hotel is a very colored, nice place. The staff is kind and available in every moment. So beautiful the place for the breakfast and our room, too. Also, it is very close to Charles Bridge, 5 minutes by feet! We really enjoyed it!
The hotel is located in a very convenient area - 20 minutes walk to the Old Town or the Prague Castle -, clean, with nice and friendly staff and good breakfast. There are also some nice restaurants in the area.
Just spent a great weekend in Prague for the first time staying at the Hotel William. Great location everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. The hotel was comfortable, rooms spotless and reception staff very friendly and helpful. Being a Brit we needed a cup of tea last thing at night fortunately we took a travel kettle as they do not have any facilities in the rooms. The other little niggle was the road noise as the cobbled road outside meant you heard every car, tram or van go past. The bar under the hotel provided us with the cheapest beer we found over the weekend which helped me sleep! I challenge anyone to make the waiter in the bar smile. All in all a lovely weekend and would recommend this hotel .
Everything was just perfect. The hotel is in a very convenient location for touristic places. This area is a.lso touristic and quiet. You should stay here. The breakfast is awesome, the rooms are clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. Totally recommend.
Good: Nice location. Comfy rooms and bed. Decent breakfast. Plenty restaurants and pubs within 15 mins walking distance. Bad: Single glazed windows so very noisy due to the tram and traffic. Tiny shower cubicle. Very few electrical sockets for charging gadgets. No electric kettle in room. Unfriendly receptionist (Ms Katerina) the other receptionists were great.

I stayed there October 13 - 16. This is 3-star hotel, but I've stayed in 3-star hotel that were far superior than this one. Breakfast was good, that's true. The room smelled of stale and cigarettes. Besides we had a problem with electricity. This is the first hotel, where I see such system. The system was damaged and I could neither take the shower no recharge my phone. The window in the room was broken and was sealed with Scotch tape. All in all, I'd say it's 3-star with (-) hotel. There are better options in the city for the price they charge (approx. 103 EUR per night). I stayed in Paris in a better room with a good view on the Eiffel Tower for less money.
we were at William for 4 nights, for b&b. the location is perfect for what we wanted, a few minutes' walk from Charlesbridge and the centre. the breakfast was simple but delicious, and the room was cosy and had all we needed. i really loved the shower and will miss it dearly. most of all we would like to thank the reception and cleaners, who were very friendly and helpful. we needed gluten-free bread for breakfast, and they provided it daily free of charge.
Rooms are up to date but hotel still has an old world feel. Good location and within walking distance of historic Old Town. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Lots of good restaurants in the area.
