The location is just perfect. Quite, peacefull area by the Charles bridge. Beautiful and clean room with minibar. 24h service at the front desk. Usefull. We lost our key.. loved to stay here. You can feel the historical atmosphere everywhere. Breakfast was great and the staff were helpfull and friendly. Defintelly will come back.
Service: First of all, Peter at the front desk is amazing. He delivers a level of service that I don’t get at many 4 and 5 star hotels. He does it out of passion and expresses a genuine interests in the guests that come through, and it was so refreshing. He offered recommendations that were also very helpful and less tourist-oriented (big bonus). Room: We stayed in the Castle View Room which was on the top floor. It’s around 80 steps to get up there and there isn’t a lift because it’s an old building, but we found that to be part of its charm. The room itself was magical. The view was incredible, the bath was cozy and the bed sat under a slanted roof with a window that could be opened. The first night, we cracked he window and fell asleep to the sound of an accordion player singing. The room definitely made our trip more special and out of all the places we visited in Europe, Prague was our favorite and I know that the hotel experience played a big part. Restaurant: Another surprising part was the food. We love exploring new food spots while visiting other places but we ate here many times because it was so good! Location: Perfection. It’s right next to the Charles Bridge so it was easy to jump over to Old Town at any time. We went on a weekend right before Christmas though, so it was excessively crowded, but we didn’t hear any of this from our room. You’re sandwiched between the castle and Old Town and it’s easy to walk everywhere. I usually visit new hotels during repeat visits because I have an explorative spirit, but I would absolutely return to this hotel and highly recommend it.
I was stayed here in room 3 (1/F) from Nov 25 to 29. The reasons why I chose this hotel were the location, free Wi-Fi, in-room safe, breakfast included and it looked very new, clean and stylist from their website. I started to make my reservation on Aug 8 by enquiry about their availability and offer, a friendly staff calls 'Maxim' gave me a very detailed information and said that he would book the room for me, later when I replied him that I needed the 'FREE Cancellation - Standard Double Room with Breakfast for 4 nights which was €295.85', a staff calls 'Vojtěch' told me to make the reservation through their website booking system. So I did it and the booking system had sent me a confirmation on Aug 9. However, on Aug 11, a staff calls 'Irena' wrote me to confirm my reservation of 'Non-refundable Payment' instead of 'Free Cancellation'. I was shocked! I wrote her back immediately for the confusion and she apologized for the mistake and told me that the payment was withdrawn from my credit card already! Although they immediately returned the money to my account, there was a difference of HK$53.60 due to the different currency rate in the next date and I had to make several calls to my bank for ensuring this small amount of money was not charged for the mistake they made. The manger Petr wrote me to apologize and gave me a discount of 100 CZK for my payment when check out. I was thinking whether I should cancel my booking or not at that time. To me, this was a serious mistake which I had never encountered when booking a hotel overseas. Finally, I made up my mind to stay here for giving them a chance. However, when I checked out on Nov 29, Irena messed up my payment again. I was told to pay €295.85, I asked her was it included the discount of 100 CZK? She said 'Yes, it had already included the discount'. I paid then but I sensed something wrong, I asked her what was the original price? She said €295.85. 'So where is my 100 CZK discount which the manager promised to give me?' I asked. Then she realized that she made the mistake again, she told me that she had to look up the previous emails and blamed that it was the manager's fault for not stating such in the system. But you know what, she was the one who reminded me that I got 100 CZK discount when I checked in on Nov 25. She kept doing some calculations on my bill, after a few minutes, I started to lose my patient as I thought it was a very easy calculation. I asked her 'why don't you just give me 100 CZK and the bill will be settled'. She said 'you don't understand, I can't do it on the system and I want to give you the invoice'. Okay, then I waited for another few minutes and she finally told me that the invoice was not available and could only send to me by email on the next day. She then gave me back 100 CZK and I left. Most of the time, I met this lady in this hotel and honestly she was not very helpful when answering my enquiries, like where to buy a 3 days pass for transport (she didn't even know there was a 3 days pass) and how to go to the Josef Sudek Studio and a camera shop nearby by showing her the address (her directions were not clear and I had to repeat my questions again and again to get the answer). Of course, some of their staff were good, like the boy with glasses who taught me how to go to the airport by public transport, although he didn't get such information in hand, he checked it out online for me immediately. And the lady who served breakfast, I understood that she didn't speak English, but she remembered all my needs which out of my expectation, like I used to sit in the corner and provided me an extra cup every morning for I used to make myself a lemon honey drink. In short, making a mistake for once could be considered as an accident, making the same mistake for twice, hmm... I doubt. Luckily, it was not my first time in Prague and I stayed here for only 4 nights and then I moved to another hotel nearby to continue my holiday in Prague.
We stayed here for 2 nights in room #10 the castle view room. It was a lovely room, really clean, lovely decor and a fantastic view of the castle. The hotel is in a great location just off Charles bridge on the quieter side but still really central and walking distance to all of the sights. We had a meal in the restaurant which was really enjoyable and great value.
LOVED IT! The hotel was beautiful and clean, very big rooms. The staff was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. The breakfast was very good and we loved the location! A little less crowded than the center of the old city, right next to the entrance to Charles bridge and walking distance from everything. Very romantic park with a great view of the city nearby.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is centrally located and within walking distance to almost all the city's attractions. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was sufficient and had many options to choose from. The staff, specialty Peter, were very accommodating. They helped us find a tour that best suited us. I recommend this hotel!
It's located in a nice secluded spot overlooking the main bridge in the center of Prague. Also within walking distance to the main gothic church in Prague. The restaurant has a terrific menu and the service was outstanding. I definitely would of liked to stay another night but they were booked!
This is a perfectly situated hotel at the west end of the Charles Bridge. Close to everything. The rooms are large, clean, new and comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was a good start to each day.
The hotel is lovely, it looks brand new, we got room #9 and we loved it! it has a very beautiful open bath tub that is perfect to end the day with some bath salts (you can get some at Manufaktura) and just relax. The hotel is located right next to the Charles Bridge so you are right across from the (very busy) City Center and Old Town, a few steps from the Kafka and the Kampa museum and about a 15 min uphill walk to the Prague Castle and other attractions. We had breakfast there every morning, it was pretty good. The room had a safe, good wifi connection and AC. Good amentities, bathrobe and slippers. Pros: location, cleanliness, frendly staff, beautiful rooms. Cons: it can be a bit noisy at night because some people get loud (if you are on the street side), but for us that was not a problem, we slept like babies. The shower drain was a bit clogged and it is just missing a big mirror, we just had a small magnifying vanity mirror.
The hotel is lovely, nice and quiet, very close to Charles Bridge. The room is neat and has new installations, it is very comfortable. The staff is very helpful, and breakfast is available. We had to leave early in the morning and the staff provided us a meal to carry since we could not have breakfast on that day. We had not even asked for that, and we think they were very kind and thoughtful.
