Very clean and pleasant room. Hotel warm and cosy. Breakfasts excellent. Plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes. Good variety of fruit offered and pastries delicious. Choice of coffees and teas which were also very good. Close to a tram stop so no problem traveling quickly into the city at a very reasonable cost. Free if you're 70 or over!!

We’ve just returned from a three night stay at the Taurus Hotel in the Vinohrady district of Prague. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast buffet served a wide range of food and lots of it, our room was spotless, bathroom up to very modern standard with powerful shower, and bed was very comfortable. If you don’t want to be disturbed by street noise, ask for a room facing the car park! Not everything is modernised in this traditionally built hotel, it has a somewhat quirky reception area - everything clean and tidy though. Would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel Taurus is a good choice. The rooms, especially in the newer section of the hotel, are modern and comfortable. The beds are great. Also the breakfast is varied and of good quality. The staff are quick to replenish the food and there is plenty of it. The hotel's decor, particularly in the reception area, is rather dated, with unusual murals. Similarly, the hotel is a good 15 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. When we visited, early November, there was a lot of building work around the Narodni Museum. Some signs and directions around this would have been very useful. There is a very good bar a short walk away. One of the men on reception was very helpful directing us to it on the first night.

A lovely old hotel, full of character with kind and extremely helpful staff. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with TV, coffee/tea making facilities and mini bar. The breakfasts are substantial and coffee was delicious. Situated 2 mins walk to the metro and a large supermarket and local restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

We stayed in hotel Taurus for 3 nights in September. The location is very good, metro station is 3 mins walk from the hotel and only take 2 stops to get to Wenceslav Square. There is supermarket up the road, also lots of restaurants and bars, big shopping mall just 10 mins walk from the hotel. The reception staff are very helpful, friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The biggest let down is the room. We requested room facing the car park so we wont be bothered with traffic noise and I can tell you I had really good sleep! However the furniture, doors, windows and carpets are dated but considering the price you pay I don't think you can complain. There is mini bar, drinks priced reasonably. Would stay again

I was on a short trip to Prague and checked in to this hotel and it was a good choice. The location is good, right on the metro line A, easy transfer from the airport, quite close to downtown, in a nice neighborhood. Check in and check out fast and easy. The room was big, very clean and quiet ( because facing backyard, I don't know how they are those facing the street). The bed big and comfortable, good size pillows. Complimentary coffee and tee available, also minibar. Free Wi-Fi on the hotel and reliable enough. Clean bathroom, with shower cabin. Breakfast it was very good indeed, as I read on other travelers reviews. A large selection of warm or cold dishes, vegetables, pastries, fruits, coffee, tee. Furniture a little old but in good condition.

Hello! We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was super clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. It was close to the bus station and just 15 minute walking to the city center. Also we had a minibar in the room. Enjoy!
