Check-in was fast. Room was exactly what I booked. Lobby and bar area were great to sit, talk and unwind while admiring the architecture of that area of the hotel. Breakfast was good, the most important meal of the day with fresh fruits, veggies, cold cuts and cheeses... different pastries, breads, juices, coffees, teas, hot chocolate, water, etc. Many good places to eat around the hotel and close to the tram and buses. The only downside was the bathtub, not fully closed off and the hand held shower head was annoying. Overall a great experience.

very nice, very clean.if I'm going back i will stay in the same hotel.

Hotel was in a good location. Clean room but small. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was helpful. Overall a very good value.

Clean nice hotel close to center of Prague. Very friendly staff. Sightseeing is in walking distance. We did not use any transportation at all. Great park with playgrounds accross the street. Highly recommend.

Good location, easy access to transport or easy walking to great sites. Very enjoyable stay.

Very nice and helpful staff. Good location near transport and also close enough to walk to everything if you like to walk. WiFi good most of the time.

Pros - Location - Perfect location for New and Old Town sights Price - Fantastic Breakfast - Fantastic Cons Spotty wifi Staff - They try but when we asked for details about the local trams, we were given a bus map which caused us two hours of complete confusion on trying to get around Room - Couldn't figure out how to turn on A/C in room which meant we had to open the windows. We heard the complete conversations of the people smoking out in the courtyard below

Very pleasant and helpful multi-lingual staff. Great breakfast selections. recently remodeled rooms very clean and quiet. Located on a tram line to get you anywhere, and walking distance to all the sights.

This was our second stay in Prague and at the Hotel Roma. We enjoyed the hotel and the location the first time so we brought 15 family members for our sons wedding this trip. We will,be back to Prague in the future and I always refer friends and family here. Thanks for making it so,comfortable for all of us!

I really liked this little hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone, even the maids, spoke English. Breakfast was exceptional, with a lot of variety. Tram #22 stopped right across the street and went into the city center. Tram #9 returned from the city center and stopped a half block from hotel. Hop on/hop off tour bus (a real bargain for 2 days with headphones in 22 languages at each seat) stopped a block away. Prague is a wonderful city and should be on everyone's bucket list.

Chosen for location and price -- both fully met expectations. Easy walking distance from Old Town, Charles Bridge, Castle and numerous churches. Two minute walk to the river and on the tram line. Also, right at funicular station to take one to the hill and tower for magnificent views of the city. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Prague -- since not in the Old Town, was quiet in the evenings. Grocery store two blocks away. Only criticism was lack of command of English by some of hotel staff, which sometimes led to miscommunication.. This was made up by friendliness of the staff.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. One beef: You can not call an 800 number from the hotel phone without incurring charges, or contact the operator easily. Fantastic location, near the Infant of Prague Church, Petrin Hill funicular, right on street car line, etc.

Nice clean rooms, very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient and close to both walking bridges

Having not been to Prague except overnight at another hotel close to the train station, I was very pleased to have booked Hotel Roma for my first extended stay. It is centrally located near trams and pretty good restaurants. I didn't realize at the time how close things were to hoof it. The hotel is located in Mala Strana on Újezd street (which can be a bit noisy so get a room on the side or back), The staff speaks English and is very helpful when one wants info on how to get from A to B. Breakfast, which runs from 7-10 am had enough variety to please anyone. Many of the main attractions in Prague, e.g. Charles Bridge, St. Vitus and the Castle are about 10-15 minutes walking time. I shuffle so I probably could have been to any of these spots more quickly. One attraction on my list was to see the statue of the Infant of Prague. It was a block away from the hotel. In the lobby there is a fish tank with a lone shark swimming back and forth. I kind of felt sorry for it being all alone, but I imagine that it probably ate all the other fish. I will probably book this hotel again when the family comes over in June. Good value for the buck.

Very pleasant staff and morning breakfast. Lost all water at the hotel for entire day which was difficult but not the fault of the Hotel. Communication somewhat limited. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is just a short walk across the Charles Bridge to everything, the location is great. The staff is super nice and the rooms are spacious and clean...especially for European standards.

This was my 2nd visit to Prague; the record rains back in May/June only made me want to see Prague in the sunshine so I returned. I stayed at the Roma the first time too. The Roma is ideal in Male Strana (Lesser Town) with Trams 18/20/22 stopping right outside. The funicular to Petrin Tower is across the street, and the turnstile is manned so you can easily get change for the transport ticket machines. Lots of good restaurants around the Roma that locals go to, meaning they don't overcharge like the places in the City center. Kampa Island is right behind the Hotel Roma and the Mandarin Oriental is 2 blocks north, so the area is good. The flooding back in June was devastating (there is a temporary exhibit by the Kampa Museum detailing the damage) but the city has bounced back quickly. The hotel itself is very clean and rooms are clean and comfortable, but not fancy. The floors are all tiled, so hypoallergenically clean. Breakfast is from 6.30-10.00 and is the standard European hotel breakfast fare. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle from Terminal 2 at Prague Airport to the hotel. Going from the hotel to the airport is 150 Kr. (Check times on hotel website).

Pros: very clean, safe/secure, great wi-fi, very nice breakfast, lovely English-speaking staff, HUGE room (ours was a triple) nicely furnished with antiques (and a modern TV!), spacious bathroom with modern fixtures. Convenient location across from tram stop. Neighborhood has interesting shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to Charles bridge. Overall very good value. Economical shuttle to airport 3x/day. Cons: walls were a little thin - we could hear too-loud folks in the hall.

Hotel was in a awesome spot. Easy walk to all of the local stuff like Charles Bridge. Rite next to a great tram stop. Hotel was clean and staff was fairly helpfull. Will stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location - within walking distance to many of the sites. Only complaint was the mold growing in the top corner of the bathroom but otherwise a great place to stay.
