Though we arrived early, the frontal desk staff ( I think her name Athena) give us the room. Location is great. Safe, Quiet , close to all the major attractions, close to public transport. Front staff called for a taxi early in the morning. Will highly recommend

Front window looked out to a strip club and the back window looked down on a roof covered in junk. Staff was wonderful. Rooms need some TLC, but it is a solid value for the money. Don't expect the Ritz for these prices.

This hotel was great and a convient location for me. I only have one complaint which is there is no restaurant or room service. I will probably stay here again though because the location is so good.

Nice clean large room. Shower had no water pressure and was way too small. I inadvertently adjusted the temperature every time I turned. I could not bend to wash my legs. The fixtures were modern. I think the lack of pressure is a water saving thing. Tuns out it is only a tine waster, I spend about four times as long trying to get clean and rinse, more than likely using much more water than if I had a normal shower. The included breakfast buffet was a bit week. But not terrible. Over all: OK for the price. Jack

We were 7 night at this hotel. The rooms were ok. nothing special . nothing to be different from any 2-3 stars hotel. Old building. In the middle of the night drunk tenants were banging on our door and yelled on us. we called police but no one helped us. Then we called reception, and when receptionist came he tried to resone with the drunk tenant and then THREATEN to CALL POLICE on US because we were complaining on this situation . Really ignorant stuff and this situation ruined all our vocation. Nevel will come again to this place.

Everything is really close to this hotel. Staff is awesome, break fast was really good.

From the pickup at the airport (free) to the accomodation and services we found them definately 4 star

Great location, spacious rooms and friendly staff. I would reccoment this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is like what we have come to expect from your average american hotel. Decent sized room, nice little clean bathroom, maid service. Room service is only for the complementary breakfast, otherwise they have none. I didn't try that out, always went downstairs and got it myself. Close to the wenceslas square, close to a metro station/trams. NOTE: They do not run the free shuttle anymore to/from the airport so don't bother waiting at the place they say, just take a cab.

What a beautiful city - it is just simply breathe taking. And what a wonderful city to get engaged in. My finance proposed on the Charles Bridge - it was beautiful. BTW I did say "YES!"

This hotel was close to attractions, clean and worth the money. It included breakfast, but unlike their advertising pictures, there was nothing hot on the buffet any day and the orange juice was watered down to where it tasted like water.

Pick you up at airport. A clean hotel. It's located close to the Karlovo Mestro (Metro system). Enjoyed breakfast which was included. Staff friendly and helpful with directions. The shower is a bit tiny. Hotel located on a busy street, but in November, the traffic noise could not be heard.

Our hotel stay was adequate, but who can take a shower in that little space???According to your instructions, upon arrival at the Prague Airport my company proceeded directly to terminal 2, Gate E(where all of the taxis/shuttles were located). We arrived at the gate approximately 0945 hours local time. We diligently looked for a driver that would deliver us to the Praga 1 hotel. Ten AM passed so we continued to wait looking amongst all of the taxis and shuttles that were there waiting to pick up passengers for various hotels/destinations. About 1030 hours I contacted the hotel and asked about the driver, the clerk indicated that the driver had picked up a passenger at the airport at 1000 hrs. This is a puzzle to me, since we had three of us looking for anything that resembled a shuttle to Praga 1. There were, in fact, many shuttle drivers in the lobby at Terminal 2, Gate E, because we specifically looked/searched each one in hopes of finding the shuttle driver. In any event, the clerk at the hotel told us that the driver would return for a 1200 hrs pickup. Once again, we were there waiting, observing a new host of shuttle drivers and the driver to Praga 1 was not visible to my party members. Shortly after this, and still without transportation to our hotel, we found it necessary to employ a taxi driver. This taxi driver resulted in a 611.00 Koruna expense. We attempted to discuss this with the hotel staff, but they would not budge from their position. Therefore I am writing to express my dissatification regarding the FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE to the hotel, I am anxious to receive your response to this situation, [...]

The hotel was a far walk from The Charles Bridge with a 4 year old, but the subway was fast and convenient.

Excellent room, clean and roomy. Good advice on a nearby restaurant.

The hotel room was very large. The bedding was very antiquated but functional. There was only a shower in my room. The In Room Safe had an old skeleton key (made me wonder how safe it was..) Very high ceilings, no TV in English ( though only one hotel I have stayed in while in Prague had it). Moderate noise from the hallway was the only major distraction I had at this hotel.

Great location right off Charles Square, not far from any of the historic areas or sights. Staff spoke good English and were polite and helpful. The shower stall is very small, and the water pressure and temp were inconsistent. In-room wi-fi did not work most of the time, not until last 2 days of a 10-day stay, despite multiple complaints. Continental breakfast was good, but a bit boring. Decent value for the price tho. GREAT view from our 6th floor window!!!

Our experience with Praga 1 was very good. My wife and I arrived after dark by train. The streets all the way to the hotel were wel-lit for our 20 minute walk. The location was good if you don't mind walking. There is public transport 1 block away otherwise. Breakfast was basic but a good variety of hot and cold food.

Hotel was walking distance to major attractions, very clean, service was good and the price was right. Watch out for the taxi fees.

Nice small, quiet hotel in good location with easy access to subway and tram. Very satisfying continental breakfast. Romm was very clean.
