Hotel was clean but no AC. Hot during the day. At night it was OK for the month of may. Breakfast was really good. And personal was very attentive. Close to the center and to all attractions but far away from airport. Need transport service from and to airport.
We were a group of 7 friends..we got three rooms in this hotel and every room was clean and big enough. Furniture was little bit old but thats not a problem. Hotel is near by the city centre ...Staff on the reception were really nice. Breakfast was good too nothing to complatin about .)
My wife and I rested at the hotel for the Christmas holidays in 2016. The best impressions about the hotel. The main advantages - a convenient location (less than 30 minutes the main tourist attractions), matching of price and quality. Very good staff in the kitchen, nice breakfast. Good lounge for guests on the ground floor. I recommend this hotel as one of the finest budget options. I thank the hotel staff. From Russia (Orenburg) with love.
This is my fifth time in Prague and the second in this hotel. Amazing service in rooms, reception. I wish to thank for kitchen staff fot incredible breakfast. Location close to most important places.Only 15-20 minutes by foot to Staromestka Namesti and Vaclavska Namesti. Hotly recommend this hotel!
I visit Prague 3 or 4 times each year usually staying in the Mala Strana or Andel areas. I have stayed in this hotel several times, most recently in May. I have various hotels but always feel welcomed at the Mala Strana. the location and transport access is excellent. I enjoy Prague and this hotel, and have booked my next stay in February 2017.
This hotel was great value for money and delivered on all the important stuff - nice room and bathroom, clean, great help at reception and location perfect for exploring Prague. The only small negative was the breakfast where staff weren't as friendly and were quick to clear us out on the strike of 10am! However overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend - thank you
The only real fault I could find with this hotel is that the bed, in my opinion, is far too hard to sleep on. However, my travelling companion did not find the beds a problem, so it is a matter of opinion. Apart from that, the hotel is great. The hotel staff speak English, and have a manned 24 reception desk. Towels are provided at this hotel. The room cleaning service is prompt and do a good job. Would recommend the stay at the right price.
My partner and I stayed here for four nights during an October half term week. We paid just over £50 per night for a serviced apartment. The staff were really helpful upon checking in and provided leaflets and plenty of information about the area. Remember to ask to borrow some pans for the kitchenette if you're staying in an apartment and plan to cook for yourself. We did for breakfast as there is a shop literally around the corner, so can't comment upon the quality of the buffet. The room was a good size, clean with nice big windows and plenty of seating and storage. The kitchenette was simple but had everything required i.e. fridge, kettle, sink and 2 electric hobs, whilst all plates, cups, glasses and cutlery was provided. In terms of location, whilst it is around a 15-20 minute walk from the Old Town, we found this gave us the opportunity to enjoy areas of Prague we may not have otherwise done so with Petrin Park a minute away, and also meant we had plenty of excuses to cross the Vltava river a few times a day and take in the castle and cathedral from a distance. You honestly won't mind walking anywhere in Prague!
We spent 4 nights in Hotel Mala Strana as tourists. It is not the newest hotel, but its location is excelent, the room was spacious and clean, breakfast (buffet) is complete and excelent and above all: the friendliness and kindness of the lady at the reception and the ladies in the breakfast room was outstanding! They made our stay!
Location was convenient. We took public transit from the airport and although you need to take a bus, then metro and then tram, it was really easy to navigate and a lot cheaper than a taxi or setting up transportation through the hotel. The hotel is only about a 10-20 minute walk to all major tourist locations, but it is near a tram stop if you prefer not to walk. Breakfast was decent, just a small variety. The room did have a safe, but we had to pay a deposit to get the key (20 euro or 500 czk I think). The bathroom has an all in one shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so if you prefer individual products bring your own. No air conditioning, but the temperature was okay. Our room was on the first floor behind reception and this was very loud. We could hear people coming and going at all hours. Try to get a room on a higher floor. Room did have a mini kitchen, so if staying more than a few days this is convenient. Shower curtain did not keep water in the tub and no mater what we did, water spilled outside.
