Hotel Elysee4.0 out of 5.0

The location itself is perfect, directly in the heart of Prague. From the airport you can take for example bus 119 and then underground "A" to either Mustek or Museum, the hotel is quite in the middle - some 30-40 mins together. The entrance is a bit tricky, it is located in the end of a passage. The building is historical with some elegance and the room are classic but - there is no air condition which is not good in summer at all. In June, there was pretty hot inside. The view from the room could be nice one day, now you can see just a construction site. Anyway, the price was really affordable and if you are not in Prague during summer, the hotel could work somehow..
We had a great stay at the Elysee. Location is super - right on Wenceslas square, walking distance to all the famous attractions including Old town square and Charles bridge. We had opted for a triple occupancy option - the room was on the 6th floor- room size was big, however, by comparison toilet was much smaller. Hotel does not have AC but fans are provided. Very friendly staff - check in and out were a breeze. Breakfast spread is very good - we stayed for 3 days and there were changes in the menu everyday. Being located so well, there are ample options of dining in and around the hotel
The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to restaurants and shops and walking distance to the Old Town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean however, the rooms have no air conditioning which can be very uncomfortable in the summer months (you need to get an apartment if you want a/c). A fan is provided so if you can live with the heat, the hotel is good. Breakfast is included which is a plus.
Nice hotel, hotel is clean and staff friendly, fabulous central location, everything is within easy walking distance. Only complaint the room gets very hot and did not have Air conditioning, but staff did provide a couple of fans, however electricity goes off when your key card is not in room, therefore, your fans stop working. Breakfast was okay. Hotel room was a bit basic for £90 per night.
Great location on Wenceslas Square, one of Prague's three historic squares. Amazing breakfast; I travel a lot and the breakfast here cannot be beaten. The room was large, had many amenities and was very clean. The staff was helpful and cheerful. If there is a downside it is barely worth mentioning - there is no air conditioning but the staff appeared instantly with fans! In a city where there are countless options, this hotel is definitely a top ten option.
I am going to start with the size of the room or should I say rooms? We entered to find a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom and a bedroom. The amenities in the room were good. Great staff at the reception. There was a young guy at the reception who was more than helpful to us, he helped out with the directions to various places and also advice on using the public transport. The constant smile on his face was very welcoming and warm to us. The hotel is centrally located and right in the heart of Wenceslaus Square. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants and food carts. The breakfast spread was wonderful. They served a variety of Cheeses and Cold meats and fruit juices. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone travelling to Prague not just because of the location but because of the service and the excellent apartment like comfortable rooms it has to offer.
Friendliness of the staff deserves 10++++ my brother had birthday and the staff helped me to arrange best surprise ever & also we got free bubbles from the hotel. Location of the hotel is excellent near to everything in Prague. Hotel rooms were neat and modern. We all loved it, if I come Prague, I come back!! Thank you!!
Stayed May 9 & 10 and were upgraded to an apartment. Breakfast was good too. Highly recommend a stay here as staff was very friendly. Bathroom was large w/separate shower - excellent water pressure too.
Stayed in this hotel at the end of April (Mon-Fri), it is a great base for exploring Prague, located around the centre of Wenceslas Square everything is walking distance, Old Town is approx 10 minutes. We booked a room but were upgrade to an apartment which was a nice surprise, good size and very comfortable bed. Would definetly recommend this hotel. The only negative is that there is no bar (although plenty nearby).
Good hotel with a reasonable price. The hotel is really quiet for the location, you are in the middle of the Wenceslas square, close to all the city attractions and good restaurants. Rooms are cozy, very spacious and clean. The breakfast is pretty good, with a big selection.
