Excellent location. Very nice hotel. Excellent staff.

Great stay, clean, great location, helpful staff and comfortable.

A small, pleasant hotel...nothing spectacular but clean, comfortable and very nicely located. Helpful staff!

This was the neatest room I have ever stayed in. I did not know when I booked it, that I would be staying at a medievel historical hotel built in 1380! The breakfast was great and it was included in the price. So much to choose from including an omelet station. The young lady who checked us out in the morning of May 9th was a total delight. She was so informative and friendly. You couldn't ask for someone more helpful or personable. She assisted us with bus passes, which we were able to buy through her and we were able to quickly find our destination. She also speaks great English, so that's a plus. The only complaint is that the bed is a little too firm, but perhaps that's just a personal preference.

Overall my stay was very pleasant. The hotel is a completely remodeled interior of a very old stone construction building in the center of Prague. Winding staircases and multilevel hallways give the feeling of wandering through an old castle. All interior areas look recently painted and decorated. A modern lift/elevator provided convenient access and thick stone walls and a side street location provided a quiet sleeping environment. The quaint and cozy interior is a pleasant alternative to the international chain hotels. More ideal for tourists than for business travelers.

Like it, perfect breakfast, we were not hungry till about 5 pm. .........

Front desk service was amazing! They had maps, good toiletries. We loved their breakfast buffet, and the service too!

the first room i got was really small and under the roof. After i asked for another room, they gave me a nicer and bigger one.

The hotel was much better than expected considering that the hotel is located at the centre of the capital. The only thing that I felt uncomfortable was that there were only one electric plug in the room so I could use my laptop PC nearby bathroom in which the plug was. But for the other things were almost perfect to me, and I really would like to come back to the hotel some time in future!

The first room i got was very small under the roof. After i asked the following day to get another room they really wanted to help and gave me a nice room later. The internet is for free but very slow. The location is great, close to the city, bars and restaurants.

When arriving it was hard to find because there was construction. Had to park down the street which was fine not a problem. There is no parking though near hotel. You have to locate a 2 hour or six hour parking spot near by but lucky you if there is a spot close by and it's free after certain hours. Hotel was conveniently located near lots of shops. Room was clean. And cute. There a beautiful courtyard at the hotel aswell. Enjoyable and pleasant.

The hotel is interesting considering it's age. The bathroom looks brand new and nice. The room itself is OK but really tiny. I had to move furniture to arrange one suitcase. The other suitcase couldn't fit anywhere in the room so we had to keep it closed near the entrance. On the other hand the really high ceiling made the room feel bigger. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Location was 10 minutes from Old Town Square, close if you like walking. The area is pretty good. On the plus side it's not as noisy as any hotel closer to the square. Pricewise it's a great deal for 2 people.

small hotel, near the center, near the train station. good breakfast. all you need for economy holidays. clean, and centrally location.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the charming Elite Hotel Prague, which is tucked away on a side street. It is a convenient location to historical sites, the river, and transportation options (tram and subway). Our room faced the street so Saturday night proved a little noisy, but other nights were quiet. Our "long" room had exposed beams and wood parquet floor - sitting area at one end and bed area at other end. The bathroom was black and white tile - very modern and clean! The lounge/bar area was warm and cozy. Free WiFi! There was a courtyard area to enjoy a drink at the end of the day or to plan your day's activities. Breakfast was a full buffet with many choices. My only suggestion would be to have coffee more readily available, either for the guest to make in the room or already made for self-serving in the lounge.

If I had paid the published rate for this hotel I would have been frustrated, but with the last minute deal it was a great value. My room was quaint and charming, the bed comfy. I was in an attic room so the sloped ceilings would have been problematic for someone taller. The location was ideal, I walked everywhere around town. They had a great breakfast spread. I requested the evening that I checked in to have a lightbulb replaced as it was flickering and about to go out and the flickering was annoying, reminiscent of a Hitchcock film. The front desk said they would take care of it while I was at dinner - the bulb was never replaced during my stay. The room had AC that barely worked, but it did sort of work which was helpful since the hotel is very near a tram line so it was noisy sleeping with the window open.

The hotel was just okay at best, I wouldn't stay there again. The rooms were absolutely tiny and the staff at the front desk are absolutely rude and obnoxious, they need some major training. The breakfast was horrible and if you go a minute late, they won't accommodate you!

Rather spacious rooms for a European hotel. Nice decoration and the beds were comfortable. There is an elevator and no issues with hot water in the shower. The breakfast is quite hearty and the location can't be beat. Extremely friendly staff. I will always make a point to book a room here anytime I visit Prague.

I visited Prague for 3 days for the PQ, an international exposition in theatre, after I had been traveling around Europe for 5 weeks. Hotel Elite was much nicer than many of the places I stayed including another hotel in Prague. It is conveniently located. It is a lovely hotel with good breakfast, air conditioning, flat screen tv and comfortable beds. The architecture is interesting and the front desk people very helpful.

After nearly two weeks of traveling, staying in friends' beds, and braving insects, it was nice to finally find our own little nook. I was worried about how the hotel stuff might go down, but we were greeted at 10pm by a friendly receptionist and everything was in place. We opened the door to a cozy, rustic room. However, cleanliness was hardly rustic - everything was neat and tidy. Towels, lotion, soap, shower caps, a fully stocked mini bar (nice to have if we had the little money left over), a window overlooking Opatickova, and a REAL, COMFY BED. We couldn't ask for more. ...Okay we could. There was no clock. So instead I asked for a wake-up call. Which I never got. However, reception was very apologetic and offered an alarm clock to borrow for the rest of the stay. The next wake-up call was on schedule. The complimentary breakfast was fairly vast by European standards (rolls, cereal, yogurt, fruit, sometimes ham/sausage and eggs, tea, etc.) Cab ride to airport was swift and easy, as was access to the internet PC in the lobby. Room was superbly quiet considering the normal nightlife din, and the room was cleaned each day. Staff was very accommodating and spoke English. Needless to say, it was money well spent and relieved a lot of vacation-end stress!

What a delightful location. It was within walking distance to the Charles Bridge, The Castle on the hill, The Clock Tower and Square, The Jewish Ghetto, and most of the historic buildings and areas you would want to visit. (We are walkers but nothing was truly that hard except climbing the hill to the castle for some(public transportation available) Being only a few blocks from the river and dozens of restaurants made this property even a better value. Even a little grocery/convenience shop two doors away. The rooms were adequate as was the bedding and washroom. The building itself had it's own special character, not the cookie cutter large hotel with cold corridors. The Elite Hotel has an aura of its own that is quite charming. Breakfast was buffet style in the mornings and was well stocked with a nice selection. In the evening the bar was open in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was VERY courteous and friendly and truly seemed to be concerned with our needs. The only negative we incurred was no ice available, and you know what, we survived ! ! !
