I couldn't make it to Prague on 1 March due to heavy snow in Ireland and I warned the hotel a day in advance (via email) that there was a problem on the horizon. Early on the morning of departure I confirmed in another email that my group could not travel and therefore they could cancel the prearranged airport taxi. Nonetheless someone at the hotel then told I was a no-show. I complained to that I had emails to prove this wasn't true and assured me they would make sure the hotel got its records in order. The hotel also charged for both nights of the reservation so needless to say it will never be given a second chance by any of my group of four.

Location perfect, room great, breakfast good, price good, service good. This is all you need for a city break in Prague. When you step outside you are in the middle of all tourist attractions in Prague, you can walk everywhere.

Stayed here as part of a very reasonable Ryanair city break holiday. Could not have been more pleased with our choice of hotel. Location was just amazing - right at the western end (quieter end) of Charles Bridge, with a view of the bridge from our room. Lovely old building which has been beautifully renovated and modernised (but all done sympathetically to the old building). Small hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. Cold breakfast buffet, but eggs/omelettes etc cooked to order. Nice little touches and attention to detail such as good-quality toilet paper (rather than the usual thin stuff!!) show that management really care. Highly recommend, and would stay here again.

Located immediately next to Charles Bridge and a stones throw from the John Lennon Wall. Super nice and friendly staff. Prices were great, and a pretty solid breakfast that comes with one hot breakfast per person on top of the buffet. I will stay here every time I visit Prague.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff, who were all very friendly and helpful regarding directions. Free breakfast with one hot meal included which was delicious every time- omelette especially. The room was immaculate and the location of the hotel couldn’t be better, as it’s away from crowds yet right next to Charles bridge and the Lennon wall. Would definitely stay here again!

I'm almost reluctant to post this review as this hotel feels like the best kept secret in Prague. The place is stunning, the setting is perfect. You're slap bang in the middle of the city, at the base of Charles Bridge, making both sides of the river very reachable. It's a gorgeous baroque building, and we were lucky enough to be given a room on the top (3rd) floor so had a view over the rooftops towards the castle. Probably the nicest outlook I've ever had from a hotel, simply beautiful. I think rooms on the other side overlook the bridge and canal so wherever you're based you should have something to look at. The staff are friendly and helpful; we arrived a little after noon and they had a room ready for us by 12.30, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was a great start to the day, all the cold dishes you'd expect plus a menu of hot food where you can choose the dish you'd like. It's not a large soulless chain hotel (and all the better for it) so yes the bathroom is compact, and there is no kettle in the room, but these things really shouldn't matter. What you get is a warm, welcoming hotel, offering incredible value (£92 for 2 nights B&B when we booked) and a stunning location right in the midst of historic Prague.

The location of this hotel is everything. Honestly. A few steps and you're up on the Charles Bridge! We had 2.5 days in Prague and this was an excellent base to explore the magical city. Lovely and friendly staff. Very, very clean. Great breakfast options. Couldn't fault them. We had a great stay! Icing on the cake would have been to have a kettle in the room but that wasn't too much of a problem for us as there is a shop right outside.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December and couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. Situated just at the Castle end of Charles Bridge you are within a 20 minute walk of almost everywhere in the old city centre. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the near vicinity. ( I can recommend the Tri Stoleti only a minutes walk away and the Beseda Restaurant about 6 mins walk) The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is a large choice of breads, meat, cheese, cereals etc at breakfast as well as omelettes and ham & eggs cooked to order. I’ve had better coffee but that’s a minor detail. We were 2 couples travelling together and were given rooms 4 & 8 on the first floor. Room 8 had a double aspect over the bridge and canal and a bathroom with bath and shower while room 4 had a view over the canal and a very small shower which made it a bit difficult to turn round never mind reach your feet! Wi-fi in rm 8 was great but very patchy to non-existent at times in rm 4. Apart from those two little niggles the rooms were well heated and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. For what we paid we couldn’t have made a better choice and would most definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent for exploring on both sides of the river. There are MANY restaurants and bars nearby, but the site is still very quiet. The staff is polite and helpful, and the breakfast is very good, including some individually prepared dishes. The breakfast room is small, however, and some people had to wait in the lobby before getting a table. The room was very large and comfortable, with a nice entry and bathroom separate from the bedroom. The mini bar was well stocked. The hotel was able to arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport, which was appreciated given a mid-evening arrival. The hotel is only a five minute walk from a couple of metro stops. Given the price, I highly recommend it.

The location is just about perfect - the only problem being that you end up crossing the Carlbridge several times a day which can be cumbersome with the hordes of tourists. Our room (nr 15) hade a lovely view of the bridge and was clean and comfortable. All in all a basic accomodation at a fair price with an excellent location.
