The room was small but tidy, comfortable, with a good, modern bathroom. The hotel is located in a building that dates to the 14th century, but everything was comfortable and cozy, and the location can't be beat.

Brilliant Old Town location

Situated just off the main square in the Old Town, check in was quick and helpful. The room had a view of the little cobbled square at the side of the hotel which was busy with thirsty tourists partaking in a beverage at the lityle bar as well as people passing through. Never noisy though. The room was pleasant enough however the air conditioning unit was rather noisy. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was decent, washed down with the local beer. Excellent hotel in the Old Town surrounded by many of the magnificent buildings, including the Astronomical Clock

We simply loved staying steps away from Old Town Square and experiencing the history of this hotel. It felt like taking a step back in time. Only one bit - the breakfast was pretty basic. But the location outweighed that!

Choose higher ground

Staff, place, $10 euro breakfast buffet and right next to main plaza all great, except we stayed one floor above the lobby (first floor) and at night time, clients from the nearby bar/restaurant tended to be loud when you are trying to sleep. Choose to stay in a higher floor or away from the street corner. Other than that, i recommend this place.
