Expected this to be better. I found the staff not very helpful. They ran out of tram tickets, didn’t offer hot drinks and it was very noisy at night. On the plus side, it was clean. Won’t be coming back.

I have been to Carlton Bratislava and this is no comparison. Quite new furniture, but the design like 20 years old. Very odd design - pictures of dead fish in the breakfast room :D. Reception staff and breakfast more 3 star than a 4 star. Loud, trams under the window. Room not heated before arrival, it took around 1 hour to heat and we were freezing. Breakfast room (saloon) not heated, again freezing during breakfast (main room heated but full). Will not use any more. I do not mind simple hotels, but for that price I expected 4 star treatment.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights, the staff was very friendly and helpful especially receptionist Lukas was very nice and he helped us with everything. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Hotel is located a few stations from city cente.

The Carlton Hotel is very near the centre of Prague about five minutes from Wenceslaus Square. The hotel, which is recently refurbished, is located in the historic Zizkov area two  kilometres from the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. This is a small and pleasant hotel just 3 tram stops or 5 minutes away from Prague's city centre; the main train station and underground line C are only 7 minutes (3 tram stops) from the hotel. There is free WiFi and all of its air-conditioned rooms; the decor was a bit faded. This smoke-free hotel has a bar/lounge, self-parking, dry cleaning, and a business room with computer. The rooms are large with a nice big bath. Many restaurants and Czech pubs are found in the area. We would use it again.

Clean and nice place, friendly Russian speaking staff, very good breakfast with fresh fruit and vegetables, sausage, eggs, cheese, fresh juice and more. The room was not big, but very cozy and clean. Modern furniture, central heating. I had a view to a gallery.

We were in Prague for a week and chose the Carlton Hotel in Prague. It was very clean and nice hotel which was a bit away from the center. The tram stops right outside. Good breakfast. nice staff and very helpful. I really recommend this hotel to anyone else.

While during the week, a gentleman and a lady at the reception desk were nice, the other days the staff was really rude. If you like to sleep with open windows, forget about it because you will hear the tram running from the early morning until the evening. At the arrival, plenty of hair everywhere (beds, bathroom) the bathroom wasn't spotless. Now I have to say the bedroom was large with comfortable beds, a supermarket across the street (with an ATM), good public transport, decent breakfast, bathroom was quite big, quiet room (as long as you keep the windows closed indeed), and the hotel is not too far from the centre (about 10-15min drive). It's a decent place with a good value for money if you have plans outside of the city centre, otherwise for about the same rate you could find better in the centre but usually w/o breakfast.

It was my 5 stay at this hotel. As usual it was perfect. The staff, the room, the breakfast, the location. I stayed in a lot of hotels in Prague-this one is the best ! You can't get more for your money!!! Stop looking for a hotels-book Carlton!

Booked as a single traveller and found a large room with a very comfortable double bed. The bathroom was nice with lots of hot water although I would have preferred a proper shower in with the bath, rather than just a hand held attachment. Room service was excellent. Staff are very efficient and friendly and prices are reasonable. Breakfast is as good as I've had in Prague but I'm glad I took earplugs as the trams would have kept me awake but then I am a very light sleeper. Several tram stops are situated within yards of the hotel and the metro is a five minute walk. The "Pubtran" app will help you navigate to anywhere in the city and is a "live" service. This part of Prague is fantastic for decent bars and restaurants without the tourist prices of the old town. I continue to stay in different Prague hotels, depending on who I am travelling with but recommend this one and have already booked a stay for next year.

This hotel is awesome. Great value for money and very well located for catching the tram into the centre of Prague. You can buy tram tickets at reception, the receptionist did advise us we could get cheaper teen tickets if we went into town but the difference was not worth it to us. The receptionist was very polite, spoke excellent English and was really helpful. Our rooms were clean, a nice size and well equipped - one of the few times I didn't have to ask for a room change! Breakfast is a buffet and there is a lot of choice for everyone to enjoy. Can't possibly fault this hotel, approx £20 by taxi from the airport, can be reached by tram from the airport too.
