Great hotel! Plenty of space compared to others I've stayed in Europe. Has a nice old style charm to room. Staff is very friendly and helpful if needed. Very close to everything by means of walking. Breakfast was perfect for me but I am a light eater in the am. Coffee, juice, assortment of pastries, cereals, meats/cheese, bread and fresh fruit. I will pick this hotel upon a return to Prague!

Good location. Enjoyed Six hours Best Tour , included lunch and boat ride with coffee. Very good tour guide with English service!!

We loved this hotel and would recommend. Great staff bending over backwards to help in any way. They gave us maps and recommended things to do. The lobby bar was a lot of fun and the breakfast which is included was wonderful. Really enjoyed the stay. Thank you

Overall good hotel in good location. Helpful staff, clean room, decent air con (was extremely hot outside) and very nice breakfast. Me and my wife enjoyed our stay, very good value for money. Anyhow couple of things to fix are: 1. Below average WiFi signal. 2. No flexible hose at shower, only fixed to wall.

good, not far from prague station, if you go to airport, they do shuttle service. it is good but breakfast wasnt

Over all the review seemed harsh, but for the money spent it was not so bad. The location was pretty good as we could walk everywhere. The staff was not the friendliest, but in their defense I was asking touristy questions. Parking was almost as costly as the hotel room, so if you can avoid it by taking a train in that's the best idea. As for the room, it was decorated very well, in a mid-19th century way. There were two problems, one the noise from the street (which we knew about), it did not bother us but it could bother others. The other was the bed, it was the hardest bed I have ever slept on while traveling.

Terrible room, under the roof. Electrical problems in the room (dangerously). After 2 days moved us into another room that was OK. Internet was very spotty...

Good location good hotel small room lots to do go walk

As a serviceable place to hang your hat, that's very centrally located and not too expensive, it was fine. If you wanted a place to lounge in the lobby, or enjoy a scene in the bar, or have anything to eat beyond a very routine breakfast buffet, you will need to look elsewhere. As with nearly all places in central Prague, everyone working there was minimally polite but appeared to suffer "tourist fatigue", since tourism is the only thing seemingly going on there. My only real disappointment was with the (admittedly, free) wifi, which required constant re-connecting from moment to moment across any number of (very new) devices (iPad + Samsung 4G phone), making email & social networking a huge nuisance.

Hotel Caesar is a very nice hotel. Breakfast is good, but unvaried (I was there five nights), most at front desks are helpful (though I was told how to go the wrong train station, almost missed the train), there is a lot of walking between the hotel and Old Town. If I did it again I would like to be closer. It is out of the tourist area , for better or worse. It was important that they had transport from the airport but I couldn't find it so wound up taking the Metro but the stp is far --especially since it was raining. The tram would have been helpful to get around but was stopped because of the floods. The Hotel was good at arranging tours which picked us up there.

The Hotel Caesar was very comfortable, quiet, and safe with friendly staff. You have to get used to the Czech people; they come across as aloof at first, but I think it's because they are not as comfortable with English. Once you get to know them, they warm up quickly and I had no problems. The breakfast buffet was simple but tasty. If you are looking for a Ritz Carlton type room, however, I suggest you go to one. The beds are firm and the comforters rather thread bare, but obviously my back prefers this as I woke up pain free every morning. It was also very safe and as a female travelling alone, that was a definite plus. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to the action of Prague, but not smack dab in the middle of it. Great place for the money.

This hotel is great for money, with breakfast, wifi, and airport shuttle included. Total cost would have been a single day in a 5 star hotel. Only complaint is the sauna, which you must request to use an hour in advance and pay for usage. I didn't have time for that, too much to do and see in Prague! I was in Prague on business and walked to most of my meetings from here. Most of the other guests seemed to be middle aged and above Europeans on holiday.

We had a large comfortable room with three twin beds, the bathroom facilities were very good quality and well equipped. The gentleman at the reception desk was extremely kind and helpful and the maid for our room was a happy cheerful lady. The breakfast offering was a bit baffling for us, however we enjoyed the selection and the coffee.

The hotel has great potential, but the lack of care to cleaning and caring for the room properly will be their undoing. We had to have the bathroom cleaned before we could use it. The mattress was covered with a straight sheet that was not long enough to cover it. After our first night, the beds were made without a top sheet, one spread was thrown across the two beds and the other thrown under the luggage table. The rest if the staff was great and seemed to be on top of their game.

Great hotel for the price! It is clean, efficient, and quite attractive. Though not in the very best tourist location, it is close to tram and metro -- so it really doesn't matter. I would stay there again and have no qualms about recommending it to others.

A very nice breakfast buffet! The front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly! A spacious room, but the old bed was creaky and the TV got only two English-language channels. The hotel efficiently arranged a car pick-up and return to the airport.

This hotel was in a great location! There were plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood for dinner! Our room was clean and bigger than we expected! The entire staff was very helpful and hospitable! The buffet breakfast was delicious!

The hotel is located south of the main tourist places such as Old Town Square, but there are good tram connections to the Castle (Tram #22, three blocks away) and to the center of Prague (Tram #14 which stops 50 yards from the Hotel). Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is satisfactory and includes scrambled eggs. Free transfer from airport applies ONLY to travel FROM the airport, so if you come to Prague other than by air, you will have to pay for travel TO the airport from the hotel (about $42 by cab).

Although a distance from the hub, I enjoyed walking everywhere and taking the tram. I went to the opera, ballet, museums, the castle and probably walked hundreds of miles. The history, architecture, music and art are magnificant. A must see!

We booked this room for 2 nights only because it was pricier, thinking it would be a nice end to our vacation since we stayed at a 3 star inn the first 4 nights, which turned out to be the nicer of the two. The good: Nice size room and bathroom, combination safe, electric water pot for hot beverages, good location. The bad: no wi-fi except near the smoky bar. Being non-smokers, this was most unpleasant. The people at the front desk were not at all apologetic about it and even got an "oh well" look from one. There was no clock radio in the room as there should have been according to the amenities. The coffee cups in the room looked clean but when I picked them up off the saucer, they were both sticky; yuck. The step-on trash can in the bathroom was missing protective covering that goes over the rod you step on; not pleasant with bare feet. The bathroom and coffee cups were not cleaned and supplies were not replenished the next day. The bed was rock hard and I could not get a good nights sleep even though I can only sleep on a firm mattress. The pillows were also flat, heavy, and hard. The bath towels were very rough, only hand-held shower with too short shower curtain; floor got all wet. The toilet is way too high. I'm 5'2" and could not touch the floor! You may laugh, but it wasn't conducive to doing business! I brought my suitcase in to rest my feet on. Included buffet breakfast: if you like bread you will love this buffet as there are baskets upon baskets of bread and pastries. There was also plain, chocolate and almond yogurt, sweet cereals, cold mini hot dogs, scrambled eggs, some sort of sausage flavored bread patty, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, salami, ham, cheeses, fruit, various spreads, juices, and the worst coffee in the world. It was not fresh, but came out of a machine. However, they will sell you a cup of fresh espresso!
