I have never stayed at an hotel right there in Old Town Square. The location was excellent, the price was great, the hotel was very nice, and very nice staff. The breakfast was AWESOME! I had no troubles getting back into the hotel at my kind of "late/morning" hours :)

Hotel is right in the square across from the clock tower. Hotel is very clean and rooms were pretty with old style furnishings that made it unique. Staff was very nice. Restaurants are right outside the door as well as shopping. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff, facility, and service were excellent. From arrival to departure, we were assisted whenever needed. Set across from the astronomical clock in one corner of the square, you will be in the midst of all that is taking place, yet the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The Grand is a set of three buildings combined to produce a wonderful Old World hotel experience. Three restaurants affiliated with the hotel provide a range of eating options for a quick lunch or evening meal after a long day out and about in Prague. Although located in Old Town, access to New Town and Lesser Town (don't miss this), and the Vltava River for a walk, run, or relaxing cruise are very easy.

This hotel went far beyond our expectations. The location was extremely convenient, the free breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the interior was quaint and aesthetic. We enjoyed our stay here every day.

Almost passed right by due to the Cafe Mozart on the first floor, but I still recommend this place due to its convenience. Watch your table if you eat alone. The table will be quickly cleared if you get up for a refill from the breakfast buffet.

The Hotel was wonderful. Better than expected. Concierge and all hotel employees went out of there way to make our stay extra special.

we were there for the new years loved everything about the hotel.

warning: not appropriate for limited mobility and youg children clients due to multipe flights of stairs to access room, otherwise the best location for city visit

Great experience from check-in to check-out, no hassles and no problems. Staff were very helpful, room was amazing with a view that we captured and posted. Walk out the door and you're in old town square so food, drinks and lots to see and do. Also, you are across from the clock tower so expect to hear it and any concerts in the square, but really that just made the experience more enjoyable.

This hotel is right on the old town square, smack dab in front of the astronomical clock. It is great for walking to many of Prague's popular attractions like Tyne cathedral and the National Gallery. Just a few blocks away is the Charles bridge and St. Wenceslas square. We will be back the next time we travel here.

This hotel had the charm, romance, uniqueness, and comfort we were desiring. The location ( we had a window overlooking the old town square and clock) and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff were tops. It was the perfect place to end our European/Danube Float! Cafe Mozart and the surrounding restaurants also great. A highlight of our trip!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is the best in Prague and the room was wonderful, made you feel like you are really in Prague

I had reserved a Deluxe Room with King size bed. They gave me a Deluxe Room with a Single size bed, which was pretty uncomfortable. I am tall, so my feet stuck over the edge, and the blanket didn't cover my full body. I complained and they said they had nothing else. Lesson learned. IF you do decide to stay here and the location is great (literally walking distance to everything), Make sure you go for the Grand Deluxe Room with the guaranteed King size Bed. The room was literally the size of a large walk-in closet. I bumped an old chair with my knee every time I went to the bathroom, it was so crowded, and that was with a single sized bed in the room. The Bathroom was clean, but it only had one towel and no wash cloths. Plus, being taller, I really don't like the hand held shower in the bathroom. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the room with King size bed is offered if available. So buyer beware, if you decide to stay here make sure you go for the larger room or save this room for the kids as it would be perfect for them, but not a grown adult. Since I was expecting the larger sized bed, I feel like the value wasn't there for me and I wish I would have stayed somewhere else more modern which were close by and within walking distance to everything as well.

When we arrived to the Hotel after 20 hour of air travel the "Luxury" room that I prepaid about one month before was NOT AVAILABLE the only thing that I got is to be moven to other hotel, in that place first they try to give mo one of the smallest rooms, finally, when I did not accept it I receive a better room but not the "Luxury" room that I pay when I made the reservation trough your company

A wonderful hotel in a perfect location right on the Old Town Square in Prague. Our room overlooked the astronomical clock and was large for American standards and huge for Europe. The bathroom had a separate shower and two person soaking tub. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast buffet including hot and cold items as well as omelets to order. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is great, right in the Old Town Square. The rooms are European style. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The wifi was out in our room, so the staff moved our luggage to another room and offerd us concert tickets for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again.

I had not looked at the hotel's website before my trip so I was amazed at how the hotel made use of this Baroque-style house. My spacious "historical room" had original hand-painted murals on the ceiling and antique furniture. Stepping into the room was like stepping into a magical world of olden days in Prague. Aside from the beautiful room, the location was fabulous - right in Old Town Square across from the Astronomical Clock. I will definitely stay here if I get to visit Prague again.

You cannot get a better location. The property is directly across from the clock tower in the Old Town Square. The building is old and thus it lacks a few modern amenities but the hotel does a good job keeping everything up to date and working.

Did alot of research on hotels in Prague, wanting my first time to be a great first impression, and I was not dissapointed!! This hotel was located right on Old Town Sq with a Xmas market right outside the door!! Very clean, good food, great little coffee and pastry shop attached. Was not sure how this holiday was going to start, as the taxi driver dropped us off on the other side of the square and we had to walk with luggage through the xmas market to our hotel!!! There was language issues with him, so when we asked the hotel staff, we where informed that it is against the law the drive into the square. Beware if you are not able to haul luggage, or make arrangements with the hotel to meet you with a trolly(we learned this on departure) From there it was nothing but but great!!! Also great Italian resturant practically next door!!!!

We loved the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The employees were all efficient and friendly. The location could not have been better. We were within walking distance of everything. There was a little noise at night because we were at Old Town Square, but the advantages greatly outweighed the disadvantages.. We ate breakfast both in the restaurant and some days in our room. The selection and quality was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
