Perfect location, helpful and pleasant staff, great breakfast. Walking distance to everything! May get noisy at nights since the location is in the middle of the Prague night life action, but still one of the best options to stay. We loved it. Recommend it highly!

best hotel ever! when I go back I will go there again.

Easy to walk to everything, 5 minutes to republic square, old town square and the national museum square.

i highly recommmend this hotel. breakfast was great. staff was great. clean room. great location.

I give it one star for the staff and one for the location. The room was not worth the money paid. The bed was hard lumpy and seemed to have bad springs on one side. The heat didn't turn on the 2nd night and stayed on all night the first night. The TV is tiny for the amount of money they charge for the room. All that said...The hotel is in a great location, in the heart of the Old Town. You can walk to many of the historic sites in 15 minutes or less. Plenty of shopping and food just outside the hotel. The staff was very courteous and tried to be helpful. Would recommend checking out other hotels in this location.

GREAT location, GREAT price, GREAT room! EVEN GREATER COMPLIMENTARY breakfast! all around WINNN no matter how you look at it. Would definitely stay here again!

internet was not functioning properly in hotel room and needed to access in breakfast room - also no password required for their wireless - outdated; area experienced a gas outage meaning not hot water & heat for a long while; rooms well-appointed and well-located

Location is in close proximity to Old Town and attractions; clean ; decent breakfast. WiFi does not work in the room, though; have to be out in the roon floor lobby to get signal; even Concierge admits wifi is weak. Overall, stay was pretty good.

I am extremely pleased with everything and everyone at the hotel from the start to the end. I particularly impressed with the two front desk staff: Paulina and Peter. I had a little problem with the taxi driver on the departure date at noon. He just grabbed one of my luggage (the lightest one), told me to follow him without waiting for me to his taxi parked on Na Prikope some 50m away (instead of in front of the hotel), and brought me to the wrong train station, and left. I got panic when found out where I was, I went to the taxi stand at the station to get another one for departure to Vienna. The second taxi driver charged me 900. I only have 700 left, proposed to give it all to him and he agreed to take me to the correct station.

Everything according to the expectations. Main request was cleanest and good location and they were achieved

The location couldn't be better. You are right in the middle of Old Town. It is a vibrant life in Old Town and there are shops everywhere. The staff is extrememly friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic. Great selection of food and the service is very good. Our only real complaints are the lack of upkeep. The rooms are pretty small which is fine. You aren't spending any time in your room anyway if you are there to visit the city like we were. However, the tiles in the bathroom had chips in a few places. The carpet had a few tears. Our towels had some holes in them. The shower door was broken but worked. None of these were a huge deal, just not something we expected. I would still highly recommend this hotel as it is a good value. Beds are your typical hard European beds (we are from the U.S.). Pillows are flat and provide no support but again we get spoiled in the U.S. with hotel bedding. Our A/C didn't blow cold so we had to open the window to cool things down. Problem at night was that because you are in the middle of Old Town it is loud at night, so sleep is minimal with the window open and noise outside. These issues may sound like a big deal but really they were very minor. Every hotel in an old building is going to have some minor issues. Compare these issues to the price and it really is a great value. Aside from the hotel, if you are there as a tourist we recommend the 'Hop On & Hop Off' tour. Great way to see the sights. It was about $35 per person for a 24 hour pass which was plenty for us. We wanted to see the town but we didn't need to over analyze and see every single thing. We are in our late 30's and it was perfect for us.

Great location to be able to walk to attractions. Staff was always very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was also very good. Easy to get to from the airport by taking the 119 bus to the metro station and then green line A tto the mustek metro stop look for the name of the street the hotel is on to exit and you can see the hotel within 1/2 block away as you walk out the door. Would definitely stay next time I go to Prague.

I've been to Prague twice and have stayed here both times. When I next go back, I'll stay there again. The location is ideal; the staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms are very clean and comfortable. A full bath rather than just a shower would be nice, as would coffee in the room. But, the breakfast buffet is quite nice, with coffee available all day.

The Hotel have an amazing location, the included breakfast is super good and the room was very clean and comfort.

Hotel Friday was located near practically everything that was very touristic. There's a lot of great shopping/restaurants/and Old Town Square is a very short walk away. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was incredibly comfortable. Because I stayed there for 7 nights, they even provided me a bigger room on the 4th floor without me even asking for it. It was great! The hotel staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast in the morning also provided many options and the chefs were quite talented. I never had to eat breakfast elsewhere. The only complaint I guess I could have was the weakness of the WiFi on the 4th floor. However, one should really be enjoying the city and not sitting on the internet while on vacation :)

Location if excellent, center of old Prague yet very quiet. Everything within walking distance, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, nice perk that if you go on early tour (like 8-8.30) you can order breakfast box in advance. Room are nice, those that are done in “modern” style have nice Jacuzzi. All in all it’s a great place to stay in Prague if you want to have everything within walking distance

Very good location just off Wenceslas Square and reasonably located to everything. The staff was friendly and accommodating; the room quite comfortable. WIFI is free and worked well; I was connected the entire time I was there. Breakfast was included, which was a surprise to me, and very good. Also, free coffee is available throughout the day. The only drawbacks - no coffee maker in the rooms, and the street noise can be surprisingly loud. Also, while the couple in the room next to mine were quiet, I could still hear them from time to time. I'm glad they weren't party types. All in all, a good stay, and I will stay there again.

reception staff very helpful with arranging tours, providing neighborhood information and suggestions. Close to everything in the main city, shows, nightlife etc. A very enjoyable stay.

The halls of the hotel are somewhat old and gawdy, but the room we stayed in was perfext. Some rooms(i noticed from an open door as i walked by) have an old styling to them with turquoise walls, etc but our room was modern as any ive stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Friday - the location was unbeatable, the staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was nicely decorated and comfortable, the breakfast was abundant and tasty (so many choices!), and I really appreciated having access to free coffee all day and use of internet in the lobby. Highly recommended!
