Beautiful hotel, perfect location. Super spacious suite with amazing views of the city. We had dinner at La Veranda restaurant, the food was superb, Lucy was sooo helpful with food recommendations and places to visit in town. Highly recommend this place!!!!!
Excellent hotel! Good room, good service, excellent pillows and mattresses. Cleaning is also very good. The breakfast is amazing. Very good location as well! I really recommend! If I come back to Praha, I’ll repeat the same hotel!
So we loved this hotel too much, the location couldn't be any better and the room was great (Executive room). I basically gave it 4/5 for 2 main reasons. The AC was very noisy. Second reason is something very weird. If you switch off all lights to sleep at night, all electric sockets don't work. So that means we can't charge our phones & power banks at night. This was very irritating as we had to wait for our stuff to charge before leaving the room. Otherwise everything was fine. The price was reasonable as well.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were really helpful when we checked in, giving advice on places to visit etc. They also sorted out our taxi transfer to the airport which was really good value. It cost 650 CZK each way (for up to 4 persons). Our room was fairly small but comfortable. The high ceilings were incredible. I've never seen such long curtains! We had a few drinks in the bar, which wasn't too expensive. The location is great and walking distance to many of the tourist attractions. My only complaint and reason I didn't award a 5 star tripadvisor rating, was that the bar staff asked for tips when we were paying or charging drinks to our room. We were also asked if we wanted to tip on check-out, which I've never had before. We would always normally tip for good service, but I think that this should be at our discretion. I don't like being asked, as you feel pressured into doing so. That was our only complaint and it wouldn't prevent us from visiting again.
We are delighted with Century hotel. Beautiful old building, very helpful staff, delicious buffet for breakfast - love the way they cook eggs! Bathroom is small but nice and rooms are very comfortably appointed. No view from our room but lovely tall windows you can leave open all day for fresh air (also air-conditioned if desired). We were pleasantly surprised to have 2 free bottles of water to get started. Recommend booking this hotel's drivers for transfers - cheaper then the taxi that ripped us off on arrival at train station. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel😃
Within walking distance to all major attractions in Prague, this hotel is perfectly located. Newly renovated, the rooms are very pleasant. Bathrooms are on the small side. My only criticism is the dinner menu at the restaurant: very small and uninspired. Breakfast is very good indeed - for the coffee lovers the coffee is very good indeed. Shall definitely stay here again on our next trip to Prague.
The rooms here are very nice and clean. Upon checking in the staff seem friendly on the most part. I would recommend to stay here but rooms are a little small but clean and friendly. My only criticism is that we had pre booked a tour and when the tour guide arrived to collect us the staff would not help them as we did not book with the front desk. May be a security thing but they still could have rung our room. Never the less minor and worth staying. The breakfast menu if included is also worth mention and very substantial.
This is an excellent property. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is very disappointing that this property does not recognise Accor Club membership for dining discounts. That causes the value rating to be less than it would otherwise have been.
When visiting a new location I like to stay at a comfortable hotel close to the places I wish to visit. Century Old Town Prague was excellent in all respects for all I wished to achieve on this visit in connection with my interest in art and photography. Comfortable room, good restaurant and bar and close to all the main attractions in Prague. Helpful staff that assisted to plan my days.
I stayed in Century Hotel Old Town in Prague, the hotel location was perfect & close to everything in Old Downtown. The room was comfortable with convenient rates & check in was smoothly going & breakfast was good.
