Barcelo Old Town Praha4.0 out of 5.0

Hidden gem in Prague Old Town centrally located to all the sights. Try to go for the rooms on 5th and 6th floor. Room 601 is probably one of the best as there you have a whole loft with nice exposed beams for yourself. On a downside, some bits require modernisation and upgrading (leaking water taps, odd lights etc), but this does not spoil the experience, especially if you are staying just for couple of nights. Price wise, a bit overpriced in high season, but good value off season. Stayed there in March and November.
fantastic central location, relatively quiet at night, nicely modernized heritage building with a sizable, inviting modern lobby and friendly staff. good quality but not exciting standard, ok breakfast however not nice coffee and strangely tasting cereals. shower flooding, bed seems comfortable at first but mattrass turns out saggy and not convenient for 2. good and timely cleaning service.
Barcelo Old Town Praha is in the heart of everything. Easy walking to everything. The hotel itself is lovely, comfortable and spacious room, with terrific staff. Old on the outside, but with modern amenities and rooms. I'd definitely stay here again. We loved the place.
Stayed for two nights Superficially attractive and looked to be a nice room So why can't they provide tea bags after 10 at night? Not everyone wants Earl Grey And why is it so hard to get lights to work? Why is the bath so slow to run (give yourself half an hour lead time) Breakfast is perfunctory And the wifi is intermittent to be kind to it At the price charged none of these things should happen but they all do I would not stay again: a significant waste of money And staff did not seem to care I was not alone with my frustration, I noted
Very nice suites - large comfortable - just excellent ! Position of hotel is strategical one - just in the heard of DC Style is slightly provocative however very nice, still good enough even for conservative people
Near Old Town Square. Within walking distance of many restaurants. Close to banks, the trams and the buses and the underground, Breakfast has many choices of breads and meats. Variety of fruits and juices. The watermelon the first day was tasty and sweet. Two days later it was sour and slimy.
Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It's location is perfect for a stay in Prague. Didn't use the restaurant as there are so many nice places nearby. Got upgraded to a suite without asking which was a lovely surprise
Excellent experience in Borcelo hotel where I stayed for one night. Rooms are clean, location is outstanding. I would like to be their member for miles and bonuses. Receptions said that I need to apply online, which probably is the only weakness of the hotel, as it would be nice to have membership application available with reception.
Had business trip and stayed 5 days in Prague. Barcelo room was big surprise, really loved it, just amazing. Right next to old town, best location. Enjoyed my stay. Will go back there if need to stay in Prague over night. Loved it!
Great service, large rooms, comfort beds, everything clean, perfect breakfast. Location - in the middle of Prague, few steps from city centre (Old Town Square, Charles bridge). Highly recommended - I have nothing for improve, everything excellent.
