The place is amazing and the location can not be better. Just steps away from Charles bridge. Room was great and pretty new. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. last day all tables had dirty plates from previous guests so it would be great if they have someone helping to keep the tables a bit cleaner. In general great. Would come back.
After seeing so many positive reviews I had high expectations of this hotel which were sadly not met... The courtyard rooms are small and old and more a 2 or 3 star... Staff are not friendly the housekeeping were disappointing with no toilet paper on arrival... Glasses not washed daily and soap not replaced. The walls are thin so we had to listen to the people next door being intimate. The location is great but in the whole I was very disappointed and felt the rates were too high for what you received. Also recommend using uber whilst in Prague.
I'm currently writing this review from room 8 in this hotel . Our stay had been great at this hotel the staff are very helpful & friendly the hotel is spotless and the breakfast and brunch is great . Our room was really nice and the view from our balcony made it extra special . The hotel is situated in the best place and very close to everything . I would highly recommend staying in this hotel X
Had a fantastic time here. Hotel is Gorgeous and in a great location. Very helpful Staff. Breakfast was spot on with a large selection. After breakfast you had complimentary snacks. Soup sandwiches fruit coffee. Large bedroom and bathroom. We Cannot recommend the hotel enough. Definitely going back.
Stayed at the Archibald Charles Bridge 11-14 December. Lovely location by the river and 80 yards from Charles Bridge which was great for visiting all the tourist spots on foot. Allocated a lovely river view room , very spacious with great view of the Old Town across the river. Room itself ticked all the boxes. Nice breakfast and complimentary soup and sandwiches from 12 noon till 9pm. Reception staff all very helpful . All in all, a great hotel to stay when visiting Prague. Highly recommend.
My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights for a short weekend in Prague just before Christmas. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with an excellent shower and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was good, although we would have liked a few more fruit options, but the food we had was very nice. The location is excellent; right next to the Charles Bridge on Kampa Island. There was even a small Christmas market right outside. The Old Town Square was only 10min walk away, as was Prague Castle in the other direction. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thanks!
We stayed for 3 nights at this absolutely beautiful hotel Dec 17'. It is spotlessly clean, the food is lovely and the staff are polite and very helpful. We arrived too early for check in but were invited to help ourselves to drink and food until 2pm, we were also able to leave our cases in the hotel so we could explore. The hotel is located in a gorgeous street with it's own Christmas market. Perfectly located for discovering Prague on foot. We will be Back!
After an unpleasant experience in another hotel nearby, I finally came to the right place! The reasons why we chose this hotel were the location, free Wi-Fi, in-room safe, breakfast included and it got an elevator. I stayed here in room 8 with my friend from Nov 29 to Aug 8. Our room was spacious and we were surprised to find that it got a balcony facing the Charles Bridge. Although the wooden floor and bathtub were a bit worn out, I could see that they were undertaking some renovations bit by bit. Their staff were very friendly and helpful and they could speak pretty good English. Even we told them we would like to go to the 'DOX Centre for Contemporary Art' located in Prague 7, their staff could give us very clear direction and figured out for us which was the best easy way to go there, especially the lady with straight, medium blonde hair (sorry, I forgot your name). The breakfast was good and they also provided free drinks, soup and sandwiches in their restaurant from 12:00 to 22:00 which was out of our expectation. We found it was the best way to 'unfreeze' our bodies after a daylong sightseeing before we getting back to our room in winter. In short, we really enjoyed our stay in here and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Keep it up : )
Just spent a very pleasant 3 nights at this hotel with my wife, which was a birthday present to me from her. Just lovely. Great location, very friendly and efficient staff and the breakfast was good. Even provided a free buffet from 1200 - 2200 hrs daily! Our room was a river view room and it was large with good furnishings and comfortable bed. The bathroom was very modern - and everything worked! The room had tea and coffee making facilities, safe (free) and a fridge which was well stocked - there is a charge for items consumed. Central heating included and I noted air conditioning provided presumably for the hot summer months! We would definitely stay there again if visiting Prague again. Highly recommended by us.
Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night stay at this hotel. We were appointed Room 11 which had beautiful river views. The room was very comfortable and really spacious (the bed and pillows were really comfy). Plenty of storage space and extremely clean. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and from 12 noon until 10.00pm there was free soup and sandwiches laid out in the restaurant for guests to enjoy. The location of the hotel is great. We had a fantastic time and loved Prague. Would definitely recommend this hotel and next time we visit Prague we will be staying here again.
