What a gem the Appia Hotel was! Spacious room, gorgeous property, wonderful staff, speedy wifi, amazing location, and my absolute favorite - it was quiet! The breakfast upstairs in the gorgeous exposed beam loft space was expansive and delicious. I really can't come up with anything didn't like!

We stayed 2 nights at the Appia Hotel, which is located between the Prague castle and the Charles Bridge. A very quiet place surrounded by beautiful buildings and great restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would always go back to this hotel when going to Prague...

Love this place! Great breakfasts with a large assortment of delcious food.Service great! Someone from our group left his shoulder pouch in the dining room and the waiter was sweet enough to bring it our room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a big bathtub, without a shower curtain and thought this would be a problem, but it worked out fine. They had free apples & pastries by the front reception area. Loved their garden, where we sat on wickered furniture and had our "happy" hour after a long day of touring. Front desk staff was very helpful in directions and ordering us a cab.

We stayed at the Appia last week. As it turned out, it was the nicest hotel we stayed at in our 2 week European vacation. Jana at the front desk was very helpful. She helped get boarding passes printed and. Helped us with laundry services. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Large bathrooms, good hot showers and great WiFi. We really enjoyed the breakfast offerings, lots of variety and very fresh. The breakfast room was upstairs and had open wood beams and small dormer windows that looked out upon the Germany embassy across the street. The neighborhood was quiet and within easy walking distance to the square and the St. Charles bridge. We would definitely come back and stay here.

We loved this place. Stayed for 3 days. Cost, wonderful staff, beautiful clean spacious rooms. Garden is so nice to relax in. The breakfast room is amazing and the food is very good. Located in the nicest part of Prague.

Stayed for 2 nights, we had organised a transfer but unfortunately our flight was delayed and we had to get our own taxi. The hotel was very apologetic and we got a cheap transfer back to airport. They also left a bottle of prosecco in the room for my fiances birthday. Lovely hotel, excellent location, would stay again

We were so pleased to have chosen this hotel as it is in a very quiet area of Prague and it's good to get away from all the tourists. The hotel was clean and comfortable and our ground floor room was nicely furnished. There was an Espresso machine in the room but only one capsule per person per day. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice although the plates could have been a little bigger. A couple of small negatives that stopped my review getting five stars: Our room, although large, was quite dark with only one window which didn't open (the window had secondary glazing and you could open the first windows) and the a/c was set at 22c which was too warm. The pillows were very large and thick - I like a thin pillow. Twice we returned to the hotel and had to wait for the receptionist to return to be let in (only a few minutes). We would return though as we loved the area and being able to wander around Prague Castle in the evening but I would request a different room.

Our party of three travelers stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment during a 3-night visit to Prague. Location is great - just a bit downhill from the castle, tucked away on a quiet cobblestone street. There's definitely an "apartment" feeling here, rather than a hotel, but it's nice and clean. Furnishings are not luxurious, but clean and tidy. Balcony, with outdoor table and chairs, is a very nice touch. Breakfast is served in a lovely upstairs room with lots of charm. Staff was helpful and friendly and responded to all requests. Charles Bridge and Old Town are an easy walk (about 10-20 minutes), and the location of Appia is perfectly away from the lovely hustle and bustle and noise of those touristy areas (which are awesome!).

We loved everything about this hotel, and could not find a single fault. The location in a quiet and picturesque part of Mala Strana was great; we could walk everywhere but were not on top of gangs of late night partiers. The suite was huge, and very well appointed, like having a luxurious Prague apartment. The breakfast was by far the best of any of our hotels on this trip as there were numerous hot and cold options and even a full dessert display. Plus it was served in a beautiful attic room that dates back to the middle ages. Appia Hotel is the definition of a quaint lodging, historic and charming and comfortable. We were really sorry to leave!

Lovely hotel, clean rooms, generous and tasty breakfast and very accommodating staff. The receptionist arranged for my partner to have his breakfast made up the night before his race as he would be up too early.
