The hotel is well located and is in a very safe area. The hotel staff are also nice. The rooms were pretty decent too. Dnt think I have much too complain at all as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Free WiFi.
My wife and I stayed at the Amigo for 3nights from the 30th of October . On arrival our bags were stored for us in the baggage room as checking was not till 12 o'clock The reception staff were very helpful and polite and told us to go and enjoy the city of Prague. The hotel is situated in the new town area of the city with plenty of restaurants bars and cafe's nearby. The old town area is about a thirty minute walk which is very pleasant or you could catch the trams which are every few minutes. On arrival back at the the hotel we collected our bags and went to our room .on entering we were pleasantly surprised by the size and deco of the room and bathroom . there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space ,a safe and a large comfortable bed , tv, mini bar and tea & coffee tray, the only little grumble I have is that there is a charge for using the drinks tray which I have never come across before.but as I said before the staff are brilliant and the hotel is very well kept, and if and when I go back to Prague I would definatly book at the Amigo again.
Amigo is a lovely traditional hotel. Very clean and comfortable beds. The staff are polite and very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are filling and there is a good choice. Although I would have liked more choice of cereals eg bran flakes. We had a room at the back and it was very quiet. Take your own coffee sachets as they charge if you use the ones in the room. It's about a 10- 15 minute walk to Wenceslas Square, but that was fine for us. We had an enjoyable stay.
It can be a little loud at night, the street in front has a lot of traffic. Also, the coffee and tea in the room are an extra 350 CZK and not complimentary, which is unusual, so be aware of that. The next metro station is only 500m away which is a good thing.
It was a very good experience. The staff was very cordial and was helpful for every problem. They cleaned the room everyday and it was very comfortable. Also the breakfast was good. The hotel was goodly positioned because close to there there were the public transport
Staff friendly, buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice, room beautiful with a balcony. The only downside was having to pay 50 KR if you used a teabag or coffee in the bedroom. Location superb and within easy reach of the main city attractions.
The room was fine although one day bed wasn't touched although I had pulled covers up...bed wasn't that comfortable and my husband and I had a single duvet each on the twin beds which had been pushed together ..we were charged 1,500 cqk as a deposit in case we used the tea/coffee/room bar....I think for a 4☆ they should either give free tea/coffee or not supply it and rate a 3☆. Also toiletries were a bar of soap and a half used shower gel. However We didn't find the staff unfriendly or unhelpful as some reviewers stated...white the opposite..the breakfast room was very pleasant and food was good...waitresses very welcoming and obliging..it was a good brisk 20 min to town..having said all this we did have a really nice time.
Hotel front desk staff were courteous but not overly friendly. Room was clean and confortable. Room was on the 4 th floor and right above the street however was not disturbed by any street noise. You are charged for the tea and coffee supplied in your room! Restaurant is only for groups I was told by reception and if I wanted a glass of wine I was to use the mini bar. Location wise easy walking to metro and tourist attractions. I felt safe walking on my own from hotel to the main square and rail station.
Very confortable family apartment with 2 bedrooms, bath and studio. Very good the cleaning service. Nice commun rooms, restaurant very clean and with a good service. International breakfast. The reception has been very helpfull . Thks to Maria.
Our stay was good: very comfortable beds and good location... Staff members were friendly, except for the guy doing the night shift. We had a big leak on our bathroom ceiling and when we told him that he said there was nothing he could do at the moment and it seemed like we had bothered him. He said he would send someone the next morning but he didn't.
