Alqush Downtown Hotel

I did enjoy our stay in this hotel. Location it walking distance from downtown/old town and major attractions. Hotel rooms are clean but quite small. Insulation is not the best, so we did here the music from hallway, but we did not mind that, because we did like the interior and there was a lot of natural light in our room (our room was at fift floor and there was roofwindows) We did not eat the breakfast here so could not tell what that was like

Really nice place and only a 15 minute walk into central Prague. Lovely big room but no windows other than in the ceiling so a little claustrophobic. Charging for Coffee and Tea got right up my nose so that's a real NO NO for recommending Alqush. They really should not be doing this. It makes them look cheap. Breakfast was okay but not brilliant. Apart from this, the staff were really good and helpful.

The tea and coffee are extra charge in the room. It was disturbing. The bad is not comfortable. So hard. The room large. It is good. Staffs were good. Bedroom and bathroom separate it is pretty good. Inside is hot and clean.

We visited the place by getting a bonus and were just over-satisfied :) The feeling that you had a present and expecting some kind of (maybe negative) surprise, and finally you're the one who get's surprised. Special offers handled as special guests, nice. Quite close to the inner-city , nice staff, excellent rooms, what more you need ? So we really had a nice time there, thanks.

Great hotel, very clean and big bedroom. We arrange a taxi on arrival from Prague Airport and we weren’t forgotten so thanks for that. It is amazing value for money. We had breakfast a few times there, but there are a few hidden coffee shops that were also great. Good location also, just next to a tramway station and 20min walking distance from the town center. I was just a bit disappointed to discover we would be charged to use the coffee/tea facility in the bedroom. As we are huge coffee drinkers we had to get a little pot in some shop otherwise we would have spend a fortune. Rather than that it was great and I would definitely recommend and come back :)

The room was quite huge and nice. The bed could be better and also it was a little bit noisy in the evening time. The breakfast was way too pricy. The staff was friendly but I was a little bit confused when I arrived they made me to hand them my credit card to charge it with caution. Overall I was satisfied with the Hotel.

Stayed at the Alqush Hotel in December whilst visiting the Christmas markets , the Hotel was exceptionally clean we had a large room and it was well heated , breakfast was plentiful and catered for everybody all in all a very pleasant stay and the staff we very friendly and helpful .

The hotel is nicely located 5 min from major metro station. We were proposed a room though on the attic, therefore it looked very small. After asking we could move to a better room (though it was smaller that it looked on photo) on the next day. Staff (at least some of them) could (should) be more friendly with their customers. It sometimes looked like we were interrupting them.... (other present customers shared this though with us). We passed this comment to hotel staff, we hope it will be considered. It was very vaguely mentioned by a pretty unfriendly staff, that the coffee set in the room was not complimentary. Because of the tone used, we didn't dare to ask for more details. We thus actually thought it was for the whole stay (as usual in most hotels). We were wrong: the price was per tea bag/coffee sticker. 2 EUR per coffee stick... In a 4 * hotel where it should be included in the price of the room. At the end, we were charged 20 EUR for coffees. 2 of them were charged after checking out. I'm not usually stingy, and 20 EUR is not a big money, but still, it is very unpleasant feeling of being tricked. If this was nicely and friendly explained before we entered the room, we may actually have asked more details, and even would have happily used the service, knowing the charge. This is minus 1 star for the rating on this site. Note to the hotel staff: make sure your customers understood what you explain. Good points: good price-quality ratio. Functional, good location, euro/czk change service at reception desk with reasonable fees, transport service with friendly driver.

We booked 2 double rooms and we had a very pleasant stay. Well located, nice services , clean rooms , the breakfast was great and the staff was really nice to us . Thank you guys ! I will definitely return here !

Rooms were absolutely lovely and even though our side of the hotel was under construction we couldn’t here anything! Reception staff were friendly and helpful! Even though this place is not in the middle of everything you can just hop on a tram or metro to everywhere within just couple of minutes!
