The room was quite huge and nice. The bed could be better and also it was a little bit noisy in the evening time. The breakfast was way too pricy. The staff was friendly but I was a little bit confused when I arrived they made me to hand them my credit card to charge it with caution. Overall I was satisfied with the Hotel.
Stayed at the Alqush Hotel in December whilst visiting the Christmas markets , the Hotel was exceptionally clean we had a large room and it was well heated , breakfast was plentiful and catered for everybody all in all a very pleasant stay and the staff we very friendly and helpful .
The hotel is nicely located 5 min from major metro station. We were proposed a room though on the attic, therefore it looked very small. After asking we could move to a better room (though it was smaller that it looked on photo) on the next day. Staff (at least some of them) could (should) be more friendly with their customers. It sometimes looked like we were interrupting them.... (other present customers shared this though with us). We passed this comment to hotel staff, we hope it will be considered. It was very vaguely mentioned by a pretty unfriendly staff, that the coffee set in the room was not complimentary. Because of the tone used, we didn't dare to ask for more details. We thus actually thought it was for the whole stay (as usual in most hotels). We were wrong: the price was per tea bag/coffee sticker. 2 EUR per coffee stick... In a 4 * hotel where it should be included in the price of the room. At the end, we were charged 20 EUR for coffees. 2 of them were charged after checking out. I'm not usually stingy, and 20 EUR is not a big money, but still, it is very unpleasant feeling of being tricked. If this was nicely and friendly explained before we entered the room, we may actually have asked more details, and even would have happily used the service, knowing the charge. This is minus 1 star for the rating on this site. Note to the hotel staff: make sure your customers understood what you explain. Good points: good price-quality ratio. Functional, good location, euro/czk change service at reception desk with reasonable fees, transport service with friendly driver.
We booked 2 double rooms and we had a very pleasant stay. Well located, nice services , clean rooms , the breakfast was great and the staff was really nice to us . Thank you guys ! I will definitely return here !
Rooms were absolutely lovely and even though our side of the hotel was under construction we couldn’t here anything! Reception staff were friendly and helpful! Even though this place is not in the middle of everything you can just hop on a tram or metro to everywhere within just couple of minutes!
It was a beautiful hotel with pretty curtains and drapes, huge washroom and exquisitely done interiors. The coffee and tea is not free and we were informed about that in the reception itself, so that was not a problem. The tramlines are walking distance from this place and it is located in such a place that you can easily cab it till here. Highly recommended!
Beautiful comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback you had to pay for coffee in your room. Plenty of places to eat down the road. Subway down the road. Food not too expensive. The hotel does breakfast and dinner.
We stayed at the Alqush for four nights in September 2017. The hotel is very nice indeed, impeccably clean and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was very nice with an interesting array of foods that vary on a daily basis. You get the usual bacon, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit etc, there was always a salad or pasta variant which was tasty. The hotel was a 20 minute walk down the main road from Wenceslas Square, so ideally suited for folk who enjoy a walk. We made use of the luggage room on our last day, useful but not secure as it was unlocked and open when we returned.
I've been here 4 days with my girlfriend on our summer vacation last week. The hotel is situated in a really good location, not far from public transportation ( 2 blocks for the subway C line and 2/3 from the tram stops) and 10 minutes walk to the National Museum. Rooms are big and there's plenty of space, lots of natural light, a nice size bathroom and some of them ( ours had it) a little balcony and also, for being on a high traffic road, was absolutely silent. Staff is always available to answer your question and give you suggestions ( We really enjoyed the tips about restaurants)
a little outside the old town and for this quieter, 400 meters from the metro and on a major and trafficated avenue, but the rooms are soundproofed, very comfortable and bright. in 10 minutes on foot you arrive at Wenceslas Square; The area is frequented by Praghesi who visit the various pubs and with a stroll you can arrive along the river Morava, where there are many boats used like bar, frequented by the young Prague. Far from tourists ... for us a great thing!
