This is an elegant, charming and intimate property in a very good location for seeing the sights. The staff is very accommodating and the breakfast buffet is lavish. The property is five minutes from the Kampa bridge and a ten minute walk to the Charles bridge. It is sufficiently close to the river to go for a stroll any time of day and also close to the Little Quarter Square with its many restaurants. It is also extremely quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep.

It was delightful! This hotel is not a bustling hotel with 300 rooms and a casino, but is quaint and quiet with a very personalized experience. The breakfast room is beautifully appointed with linen tablecloths and napkins. The food was delicious, and displayed like artwork with everything in its place each morning. When booking we thought spa and pool were included on site not in the sister hotel. Fire escape route is bia dtsirs only so if fire is on lower level you are trapped. No in room facilities for tea coffee.

Nice property but front desk service needs help

The woman who checked me in and checked me out was friendly and competent. But the person who tends the front desk in the evening had little knowledge of anything, nor any interest in finding out the answers to questions. The desk was mostly unattended while this individual smoked outside the main entrance and talked on a mobile phone. The other woman who tended the reception in the morning/daytime was impolite and not eager to help.

This was a gem of a hotel in the historic “lesser town” of Prague, steps away from the Charles bridge and other historic sites. The staff was friendly and helpful always. The breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive and the wine and cheese in the afternoons was a delightful bonus. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great small hotel in Prague

I like the non-chain hotels. This was yet another great, small hotel that had everything I needed. The breakfast was great, and I really liked my attic room. Even the morning snow falling on the ceiling window was charming.

A Grand, Small Palace in a Quiet Area.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Very professional service. The breakfast was great with a good selection. The room was like staying in a palace – ornate, high quality furnishings and linens, spacious, with even a small kitchenette and coffee and tea facilities. The location could not be beat. Five minute walk to St. Charles bridge, 10-15 minute walk (across said bridge) to the Old Town, or 15 minute walk the other way to the palace and cathedral. All this, and in a very quiet, safe neighborhood free of the ruckus of Old Town Prague. A word about Prague itself: it's indescribably beautiful. If you haven't been, go.
