good restaurant, large and clean room. a huge terrace

The hotel meets the expectations . Good location ,nice room. Breakfast plentiful but monotonous. Good restaurant for a reasonable price

I would come back this hotel next time. Non frill but very convenient.

Great - the staff was friendly and the room was perfect for what I needed. I arrived before the check-in time and the staff found an available room for me (larger than my original reservation) and gave it to me no problem, and for no price increase. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget!

I spent most days in Prague taking in the sights and exploring. Most evening were spent with a friend who gave me more insight into this great city. The hotel staff was always helpful and courteous which made my stay quite comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel was more of like a motel in the US -- well equipped but lacked the luxury that a hotel provides. Also since my room was overlooking the bustling streets, it was rather noisy in the morning. But overall, it was a good stay. Nice and helpful staff and its location was great -- accessible to all public transportation, safe area, close to a supermarket and pharmacy(which is so important because when you're traveling on budget, you get to save so much money on food. Also if you get sick, having a a pharmacy around is a life saver; trust me I wouldn't have made it back to my home country on the scheduled day if there weren't a pharmacy around as I felt ill during the last two days of my stay.) I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Breakfast OK. Room and bathroom nice. Bed too soft. They appear not to use vacuum cleaner for cleaning, so much dust in air. For price, very good though.

The hotel is not located at the most touristic part of the city but in front there's a subway station and it is easy to connect from here to other places or the airport. It is just a 30 walk from the most important touristic places, a 15 walk from Petrin Park or the river. The bathrooms are quite big considering the European standards. It is a clean place and I guess just the pillows were uncomfortable (very soft). If you are expecting to be in an old and nice, medieval styled building or neighborhood, this is not your place. The people at the front desk and the restaurant are nice but: Be sure to learn some useful expressions in their language!!! Most people at Prague speak English but if you make an effort to know some expressions (as hello, good morning, how are you, etc.) in their language they'll really appreciate your effort and their cold faces will turn into smiles and they'll be more willing to help you. It is a good place to be if you are more interested in what you'll see in the city than in having a luxury stay in a hotel.

Akcent is on the top floor of a business complex. There are not many rooms but they are modern and clean. There are no fitness centers or the like, but you are literally right next to major metro, bus, and tram connections. Great location, especially to get to shopping, and only a mile from Charles Bridge and Old Town. If you are out enjoying Prague and want to see more than just tourist locations (perhaps enjoying the shopping or the culture) then this is a good, reasonably priced choice.

Great place on top of the Metro... one floor only, pleasant, modern facilities. Great breakfast.

First I would like to mention that for the price this was an excellent hotel. I paid approximately $40 USD per night and it was clean with an extremely large room and balcony. No complaints about the size or cleanliness of the room, they were both at or above par. Also the hotel is located right above the metro, making it extremely convenient to get to the city. However, I didn't like the excessive parking fee of $15 USD per day. I was lead to believe that there would be free parking, and was kind of taken aback by the charge. Considering the parking lot was deserted it hardly seems fair, although they do have a guard which might be nice. In Addition I feel that they lied about internet service. I was there for 2 days and the internet was down for both of those days. Maybe it was temporary, but I wouldn't know because I had absolutely no internet service. The bottom floor of the hotel is a casino, which may or may not be a good thing. I thought it looked a little sleazy, but they did have a bar and a considerable number of billiard tables.

When we booked for additional nights, there was an error in booking and one of the rooms was not ready for us. The reservation was upgraded to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Although it was not very close to several of the tourist spots, it was convenient because the metro was on the same block, buses were on the next block and the trams were three blocks away. Very convenient! We will stay there again if we're in Prague!
