You will find an authentic half-timbered house from the 1800s with a thatched roof, where history meets the present. The house is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking meadows and fields, surrounded by a large, wild garden with old trees and a spacious lawn.



The large kitchen with tiled floor welcomes you through the entrance hall. The two-part living room is raised a few steps above the kitchen and has wooden floors with a wood-burning stove in the center. Upstairs, you will find four attics that frame the view of the hilly landscape.



The garden is the house's great asset. It extends over several levels and is allowed to be wild in many places. Large trees provide shade, while the lawn invites play and relaxation.



The town of Præstø is close by, with its charming harbor and child-friendly beach. The rolling countryside offers great hiking through fields and forests. Møns Klint, Vordingborg, Fakse Kalkbrud, and Skovtårnet are all within easy reach for a day trip.

Vacation in a Historic Building. We felt right at home in the beautiful, gently renovated old farmhouse, the spacious garden, and the rural surroundings. Our host, Peter, gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and provided some helpful tips. The guidebook, which was sent to us in advance, contained extensive information and tips. We were happy to follow Peter’s recommendations for exploring the area. The house was perfectly equipped, from the well-stocked kitchen to the trampoline, water guns, and beach gear. We’d love to return to this idyllic spot.
