The staff at this hotel especially at the reception is very nice and helpful. Although the hotel run bakery was closed at night they organized some special polish christmas candy for me. The rooms are clean and comfortably equipped. I will come back for sure.
It was amazing weekend. Me and my wife really enjoyed the hotel. We came to celebrate wife's birthday and were welcomed by champagne bottle and very testy cake and greeting card in the room .It was privilege room.Very comfortable very clean ,big. All the toilet facilities are inside. Despite the fact the tram ways is just in front the hotel it is quiet .Location is good as well . 15 min walk to Stary Rinok (city heart) .In case you don't want to walk the trams just 1 min walk from hotel -3 tram stops .The breakfasts not so rich but it's testy and fresh.
I enjoyed my stay here as the room was very large, almost a suite. The service was very good, personnel friendly. It's nicely located permitting a walk to through the old center. The bed was very good, one of the most important features for me.
Very good hotel - rooms are clean and tidy. Very good approach to client . Excellent food. Near city center. quick check in. You can really enjoyed staying there. If I come back to Poznan for sure I will stay again in this hotel.
Nice hotel in city centre. Car park in front of hotel is expensive. Alternative car park at the rear is cheaper but by the time you reach it you'll be wet it it's raining ! Need a good GPS to be reached by car !
I spent 6 nights here between the 4th and 9th November 2017. It is very well located being about 770m from the main train station and with a major tram junction just across the road. (Although close to the station the route is a bit tortuous and not suitable for dragging a case). The Old Town is within easy walking distance or 3 or so tram stops should you wish or need to go by public transport. Notwithstanding that proximity to tram stops, a busy road and railway tracks it is quiet and there is little noise intrusion even at the front. I have stayed in a number of Mercure hotels in many cities and this must be the the most spacious, or appears to be, in terms of its public areas. The foyer is very well laid out with some very attractive furnishings. In addition to the restaurant and breakfast areas there is a pastry/cake shop/cafe which appeared to be well patronised by locals. I was given a room on the 7th floor facing the front. It was very clean and much as one would expect in terms of size of a Mercure room. There was more than adequate storage space, the usual supplies of tea/coffee and water. The bathroom had a shower with a single shower head which supplied more than enough hot water. The bed was large and very comfortable. The TV had a modest number of channels with 3 English language news channels but no radio. I did not have breakfast in the hotel but I did use the restaurant. The menu is the usual Mercure Winestone with a couple of more local dishes. What I ate was very tasty and well presented and good value. One occasion the service was really slow but that was a blip (I think there was a lot going on elsewhere) as my other experiences while either eating or having a drink it was brisk and efficient with helpful and friendly staff. The pastry shop was superb and exceptional value with really lovely staff. The local croissant type pastry was much to the fore as well as a whole host of other pastries and cakes.A very pleasant venue for a coffee and something sweet to start the day or after a hard day being a tourist. My only negative comment is that there is no safe in the room which at which I was surprised given all other Mercure hotels I have stayed in in Poland, Hungary, Austria and Romania have had one. If one wants to keep something secure there is a safe deposit room with dual keys but it is a bit of a faff. This is more a 4.5 than a 4. This hotel is a great place to stay and a great location.
I stayed 2 nights at hotel and i can say that it is suitable for the meetings or fairs. Firstly hotel is placed in city center and its close to old town that is poznan old market and city center. Hotel is well designed and has a great city view. Rooms are standart and minibar is good. Lech is traditional beer, rooms are clean but air conditioning system is not working properly. Hotel is working with euro but they prefer to use polish ziloty, receptionists never looks at your face any time, while doing something with computer also they are not good at English, they are speaking English with polish like. Breakfast is good, fresh fruits, coffee and crumbled eggs are my favorites. For dinners I didn't prefer to use Winehouse restaurant but you may choose. Generally hotel is comfortable, clean and well placed.
Very nice position and quiet.Room was very large , very nice and perfectly clean.Bad was very comfortable and i sleep very good. Very friendly and good staff. The breakfast is very good and offers a large selection on hot and cold food including cakes and fruit . Only suggest-there is no instant coffee like Ness . Such nice and good hotel needs some better towels I used welness and it was nice .
Spent a very comfortable long weekend at this Mercure hotel, situated at the edge of the main tourist part of Poznan. It's about a 10/15 minute walk to the main square, although you pass the main museums and galleries on the way. Friendly service from all the staff. My Privilege room was the size of a suite and was very clean and comfortable. I've recently also stayed at the Mercure in Gdansk and I would say the breakfast there was better and you had a much wider choice of dinner options there too. The inclusive meal plan in Poznan was very limited and didn't include the one alcoholic drink on offer in Gdansk.
Very nice reception by the friendly staff. Rooms are large and clean. We got all together a room upgrade, which was very nice Need to have a bit of refurbishment. The breakfast is very good and offers a large selection on hot and cold food. This also includes a large section of cakes and fruits.
