The house El JERMOSO has 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds). It is fully equipped:

- Large garden with barbecue and 2 typical horreos of the area and stunning views.

The JERMOSO is located in Cordiñanes, in the Valdeón Valley, north of the province of León. Located in the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park, the feet of the Jermoso Col, 2 km away from the town of Posada de Valdeón, capital of the valley.

In 2007, Fidela and Juanito wanted to restore this typical farm house. After 2 years of hard work and dedication the house is ready to meet the demand of people who want to enjoy the tranquility and landscapes of the area.


This house is a good example of the traditional architecture of the place. Completely renovated, thanks to its restoration, careful decoration, services and its idyllic location, make it an excellent house to spend a weekend or holidays, in contact with nature.

The house has 3 bedrooms (1 with double bed) all with heating, plus a wooden corridor from where to contemplate the peaks of Europe.

Among the common areas it has a cozy living room with fireplace, (reading corner and TV). Adjacent to the house guests can enjoy 2 beautiful horreos and a corral where you can enjoy the sunset in a picturesque village.

Que Bella casa! Los duenos son muy amables. La casa es muy limpia y tiene todos que necesitamos. The location is right next to the trailhead for El Jermoso- a beautiful hike up into the mountains that we did. We would definitely come back to this beautiful and historic renovated farmhouse!

Un lugar estupendo

La casa está genial, muy acogedora, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días estupendos y extras como la estufa de leña del salón, la barbacoa.... El descanso asegurado con unos colchones de los buenos, calefacción para estar muy agusto, agua caliente en la ducha a tope,.... Las vistas desde el jardín, mientras comes, impresionantes.

Acogedora casa y atención excelente

Fin de semana de carnaval. La casa está ultra equipada, no le falta un detalle, limpieza y conservación de 10. Es ideal para hacer la ruta del Cares o montañismo. Compramos huevos caseros a un vecino que con el pan que nos vendió el panadero, furgoneta pitando en la puerta de casa a la vieja usanza, hicieron que tardemos en olvidar tal manjar. Gracias a los propietarios por su acogida y explicaciones, no es fácil ver un trato tan cercano y entusiasta con las explicaciones Abrazos y recuerdos de las niñas Alberto y Familia

Simplemente maravillosos, tanto Fidela como Juan y el encanto de la casa y el entorno. Desconectar del bullicio y disfrutar del silencio y excursiones en familia. Es un lugar para estar mínimo 7 días ya que hay mucho que ver y excursiones como Covadonga, Fuente De, etc... Gracias Fidela por el esfuerzo en que estuviésemos lo mejor posible. Un abrazo.
