Good hotel in the center of the town. It worths it for the price, it's really good located, very kind and helpfull staff. The bus stop is 4-5 minutes walking from the hotel. Small room but a big bathroom, clean and with all facilities.
I was a bit disappointed with the location of the hotel. Altough is not far from the sea front it is situated few roads away from it. The advertising photos are misleading. However, we had a good stay in this very popular hotel as one can book it as package from the portosanto line with the ferry boat ticket which is cheaper than if you buy ferry ticket and hotel separately. Hotel is very clean, friendly staff and good variety of breakfast.
I'll start with the negatives: - No internet connection on bedrooms most of the time... - TV is very small! - No fridge. - The pool isn't great... - No balcony Positives: - Great location - Breakfast is good but lacks variety (no eggs, bacon, etc...) - Rooms are clean and decent with comfortable beds and toilet - Staff was nice
A friend stayed here and we swam in the pool it was great and very child friendly! Great facilities and close to town and Calheta beach, would recommend it, well priced too. The café serves ice creams, light snacks and great coffee!
Nice and clean room with AC,TV and clean bathroom, good breakfast from 7.30-10.30,with different breads, cornflakes, cheese, butter sweetened fruits and fresh fruits, juices, coffee, hot chocolate, teas...etc. Neat and clean pool open from 8am till 2am.Also has a bar near the pool. And free wifi zone at the reception. Had a great stay at the hotel.
The hotel is in a very good location in the center of the village, close to both the port and the airport, few hundred meters from the seaside. The room we were was quite standard, maybe a little dark, but clean and confortable enough, the breakfast is good apart from the coffee that was very bad. There is a small poll and a nice bar, not part of the hotel i think, on the side of the pool. All the staff is very pleasant and they allowed us late check out. No wi-fi in the rooms unfortunately.
Staff very helpful, clean space, very close to the sea! The breakfast is very reasonable, continental, with local fruits and croissant. The coffee is from a automatic machine, don't expect too much. The rooms are nicely decorated, very bright and with enough size for a beach vacation, not for long staying (a weekend is recommended). They have a space for shower after returning from the sea, when you don't have the possibility for late check outs! That is so clever :)
This is a budget place to stay! Here you will stay in the city center, with a little but clean room, a good breakfast and a friendly staff. In my opinion it much better than is brother Torre Praia Hotel!
This hotel is very cheap if booked as part of the package including the Porto Santo line ferry. We stayed 2 nights here and just got back to Funchal. The hotel is clean and tidy. There are English TV channels in the room. I found the room can be quite noisy each morning because of other guests. Nice hotel bar that does drinks, snacks and shows football games and there is a small pool area but we opted for the beach which is only a 10 minute walk away. Nice central location. Didn't think much of the breakfast but can't complain at the price paid. We skipped breakfast on day 2 and just went to a coffee shop on the main street which ended up being really cheap. There is no safe in the room so we had to take all our valuables to the beach but the hotel was safe and met our requirements. Would Recomend for a couple of nights but if I was staying longer I'd probably consider one of the 4 star options
We visited this beautiful island for three days from Madeira. I spent two walking in the mountains and activating two SOTA (Summits on the Air) with my amateur radio equipment. The hotel was clean with a very good self service buffet breakfast. The staff were very helpful giving me information about walking routes. My wife and sister-in-law enjoyed two wonderful days on the beach. On our third day we had a taxi tour of the island with a very informative taxi driver.
