The staff immediately welcomed us with a glass of sparkling wine and took time to go over points of interest on a map with us. Our room was clean, comfortable and functional. The breakfast for 15 euros per person was well stocked with everything we could have possibly wanted to eat. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and they had several different types of coffee available. We ate cooked to order omelets each day and they also had fried or scrambled eggs with sides of bacon and sausage. Lots of fresh fruit and yogurt was also served alongside multiple pastries.

We had such a wonderful stay here. It is super close to the metro so easy access. It is convenient to all of the major sites you would want to see and tons of shopping and restaurants. We were welcome with a welcome drink. They put our bags in the room for us While we were outside seeing before check-in. Just a really lovely experience.

1) Hotel did not reply to me emails re. parking after booking: I had to call from the UK to confirm. 2) We arrived after 3 weeks travel with dirty laundry: the hotel could not DO laundry on the weekend. Instead, they offered the address of a local launderette. 3) Same drinks at terrace bar on different nights: 2 different charges? 4) Parking our car was a nightmare in garage. 5) Breakfast was chaotic on 2 of the 3 mornings; room too small for the buffet.6) Room nor made up at 4pm on last day. Most expensive stay on our 3 week trip and worst value. Cannot recommend,

We stayed in Vincci Bonjardim for 4 nights. It was very good value, easy to get to from the airport (30-40min train a 5min walk from Trindade station) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location was quiet and convenient - not much on the doorstep but just a 5-15 minute walk to the centre and other places to eat and drink.

Enjoyable stay in Porto

A really nice hotel, good location in the city near the metro and the market. Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast and provided a take out breakfast one day when we left early. Only bad point, don't bother with the hot chocolate!
