The property was lovely and the room had a great view of the river. However, the hotel was so preoccupied with conserving energy that we were not really in control of the room's temperature. The AC would not go below a certain temp setting (and the weather was warm) and it went off altogether every time we stepped out on the terrace. We will not stay there again.

The hotel it self was great however the service and meal in the restaurant was excellent the first night, however on the second day breakfast was ok dinner on the other hand was awful between badly behaving chid and poor service ( ordered drinks which we had to flag down the hostess for after waiting patiently for 20 minutes, and then having the meal served after which the drinks finally came. My wife's fish was over cooked as was my pork tenderloin, could not catch anyone's eye so we left. We eat breakfast in the morning and eat elsewhere for our last day. Would not recommend to our friends to eat there.
