I didnt check in till after 4am due my flight delay and sorting my baggage loss and i still had to check out at 12pm...missed breakfast that was already paid for. I just dont feel like i got my money's worth. No late check out was offered. Staff was short and uncaring.

Central location, can walk to historical places/dining/shopping. Very friendly staff. The place is clean. Stayed on two occasions, both times rented double room. Both times there was only one chair in a double room. We feel that there is a very good price-value ratio.

Falsely advertised as air conditioning - first room - remote controll turned down to "16 degrees celsius"- but it was blowing hot air (that's the lowest the controller would allow you to change). room 6.4 Moved to another room, room 4.6 - same issues - remote control read as "16 degrees celsius", when in fact it was approximately 25-26 celsius/80 Fahrenheit. Location was good - fair walking distance to metro station and some major sites. Internet nonexistent - spotty during morning/afternoon; absolutely shuts down after 9 PM

The hotel is in an excellent area, close to everything but not so much that it’s loud and annoying. Excellent value, great client service and the breakfast was decent. The room is VERY minimalist (as in, no tables, 1 chair). I’d stay at this hotel again though as I don’t spend a lot of time in my hotel room anyway and the price is right. FYI-there’s an awesome cafe/tapa restaurant just down the road (Tapas Batalha) where the service is phenomenal!

The staff are great. The room looked like a construction trailer and the bathroom looks like a plastic portapotty. The entire room/bathroom is plastic. Only one awful pillow each for my husband and i. I was so upset when we first got to our room as we had paid over $100 and could have easily gotten a much nicer room for less. We were duped. I absolutely do not recommend.

The staff in particular accommodated my needs and were very friendly. The location was great! And you feel safe around. However, the room was bare bones, we expected that, but we had no mattress cover, no fitted sheets, and no toiletries (soap dispenser did not work).

Good room, great location, poor wifi

Good budget hotel. Spacious room and bathroom. Good location; shopping, markets, and many dining options nearby, and walkable to all the great sights. I didn’t use public transit at all as I could walk everywhere I needed to go, including meeting points for tours. The room shows some signs of wear and tear, not a problem. The biggest downfall of this hotel is the poor wifi. I used a lot of data during my stay here. Fix this, and I’d stay again.

As many of the reviews stated I would not recommend this for a longer stay. The breakfast is fantastic and worth adding onto your stay. The room comes with no toiletries and a single pillow the bed is not very comfortable. I would recommend spending a little more on a nicer hotel. Our room flooded in the night and they sent our stuff to be dry cleaned but didn’t offer any other accommodations so service is alright.

Is in a great location, all staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but very clean and functional. Breakfast buffet very good with good choice of pastries, bread etc and lovely big bowl of fresh fruit every morning. Nothing negative to say about our stay there.

Stopped for 3 nights,, room was ok,, beds quite comfy and bathroom did its job,, the room was let down by being on the ground floor next to reception,, very noisy in the mornings with large groups checking out,, also a lot of traffic noise early in the morning,, continental breakfast filled a gap,, fresh rolls,, ham,, cheese,, fruits,, yoghurt,, tea, coffee, juices,, bread for toasting,, hotel wasn't far from main bridge and quayside,, would definitely recommend taxi back as its uphill,, overall not a bad stay,, would be better with a higher floor room

Reasonable price for a truly outstanding location. Very central to all of Porto’s places of interest. Walking distance to Sao Bento and Bolhao Metro stations. Convenient to the Batalha station where you can take the funicular down to tge and up the Ribeira area. Very basic but clean surroundings. Next to a bus station for traveling in and around Portugal.

Very happy with our stay!

Location is great. Very near to metro and train. Lots of restaurants and sites near. Pedro, at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He really made our stay by sharing information and booking our massages and additional activities
