Ruby Anniversary

My husband and I enjoyed our week stay (in June) at the Hotel Jaguar Oporto. The hotel was very clean and nicely presentable. Breakfast was wonderful and even though we only ate one evening in the restaurant, the meal was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The free Shuttle service from and to the airport was a bonus. The hotel was handily located for the Metro and it was only 3 stops to the City Centre. During our stay, it was our Ruby Anniversary, which I had mentioned to one of the staff. After being out all day on our Anniversary, when we returned, we were presented with a bottle of champagne and a cake, which was a wonderful surprise. I would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.

I loved this hotel. The check in was quick and the welcome drink was so nice!! The room is quiet and had amazing amenities. I was super happy with the comfortable bed and AC. The shower and bathroom were stocked with everything I needed and great towels. The staff here are really friendly and lovely. And bonus was being picked up from the airport so n a cool Tesla. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!

Good hotel with personal shuttle service to and from the airport. Friendly professional staff. Room was very clean and comfortable with a king size bed, very quiet. Location is close enough that one can walk to downtown restaurants, shops and attractions. Shuttle is also available to downtown areas although we decided to walk everywhere as part of our exercise. Porto is hilly so be prepared with comfortable shoes to walk on cobble stone alleyways and streets! We didn’t try the food at the hotel and went to local restaurants instead although the menu at the hotel seemed quite good with some traditional Portuguese dishes.

The staff was wonderful. They called and texted several times since we hadn't gotten to our hotel airport shuttle. They wanted to make sure we were o.k., and they communicated very well about waiting for us and where to meet the driver. They upgraded our room because they knew we'd traveled overnight from San Francisco. We did not eat the breakfast, but they were happy to make recommendations. It was easy to use their shuttle service to get to and from the airport, and the car and van they used were clean and excellent quality. I would stay there again.
