A bit of a late review as I stayed at the Sweet Porto in July. A very well appointed apartment with kitchen and spacious bathroom. The hotel is in a great location and all the tourist sites/restaurants are on your doorstep. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Sweet Porto.

We had a lovely stay at the Bloom House. The staff were so kind, helpful and friendly — they helped us book numerous restaurant reservations, gave us great recommendations, and helped coordinate several activities, such as booking tickets for a boat tour and wine tasting. I really appreciate how communicative and helpful everyone was, especially Carla (thank you!). Our room was as advertised and the bed was very comfortable. You also can’t beat the location — easy access via metro and right by the Mercado do Bolhão. We would happily stay here again! Do note — there is no overnight staff, so make sure to communicate with staff about your arrival time.

Bloom House was the perfect stay for our short trip to Porto! Location was an easy walk to train station, restaurants and all of the sight seeing. Apartment was clean, quiet and so comfortable. I always appreciate a cozy, charming feel and this had it all. The hosts were wonderful and extremely helpful to our large family. I wish we had longer in this beautiful city and this perfect little apartment. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back!!

A great stay!

The staff were kind and provided a very thorough overview. The space was perfect for our needs. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted in Porto from here- great location. There were only two things that I would have potentially changed. My son, who slept on the pullout couch, indicated that was not the most confortable for him. The room smelled amazing, and unfortunately, whatever scent it was also aggravated our allergies. We could not identify where the scent came from to address it. Still 5/5. We would stay here again in a heartbeat- and would ask about the scent ahead of time.

The property is right by the Bolhao metro station, the tiled church of souls, and the famous market. We took the train straight from airport to the metro station half a block away to the property. Front desk lady, CARLA, was amazing. Best service I’ve had in all my travels! The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable - my in-laws stayed in another room and also commented on the comfort of the bed. The room had everything you could want, kitchen, cold fridge, stove top, microwave, hair dryer, bath gels and soap, etc. We enjoyed our stay, and the location was perfect.
