This private villa in Punta Grossa is just 100 metres from a small but beautiful beach. Situated between two of the region’s most popular destinations, Punta Prosciutto and Torre Lapillo, this villa makes an ideal base for a holiday in this glorious part of Italy.

The villa sleeps 6 people and is well laid out for indoor/outdoor living. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property can be used as a dining room and is equipped with a BBQ, table and chairs.

The main entrance, via the front courtyard, leads directly into the open-plan living area. This is furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV, dining table and chairs. The kitchen is at the back of the living area, next to French windows leading out onto the back veranda. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.

Bedroom 1: The light-filled master bedroom has a double bed, a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: Reached via the back terrace, this bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe.

Bathroom
The spacious bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC
Extra: There is an outdoor shower on the back terrace, very useful after a day on the beach.

Location
The apartment is in the village of Punta Grossa, just 5 minutes from Torre Lapillo, which is known for its 4km-long beach with soft sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach’s gentle slope makes it ideal for children and elderly visitors. The town behind the beach has everything holidaymakers might need during their stay. Supermarkets, smaller food shops and a wide range of restaurants and pizzerias will suit all ages and budgets.

The resort of Porto Cesareo (15 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses.

Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (40 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city”, and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where, if you go early, you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just under an hour away by car.
