Summary:
575 acre all-sports lake or wetland views from nearly every room in the home. You won't find another place that offers the ability for your group to swim, nature or bird watch, catch frogs or turtles, swim, fish or relax, like this home allows. We've set up the space so even if there's rain in the forecast, you'll have something to enjoy inside of the home. We're 12 mins from downtown Kalamazoo, 5 mins from I-94 and halfway between Detroit & Chicago.

The Space:
Welcome to our smallest home with Lake Front Access. This home has 1/2 Acre yard, Garage with EV Charger and Full arcade room. If you're looking for a larger custom built lake home, please reach out and we'll send you the links to our larger lake homes where we can host up to 12 or 24 guests. This home has 50' of private Lake frontage accessed directly across road. Great for accessing the lake for Ice fishing, snowmobiling or ice skating. With 2 bedrooms, (3) Queen sized beds, large living room and a separate full arcade room, there's plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying family and friends. From the backyard deck you'll be able to enjoy your group relaxing by one of the the firepits (gas or wood) or grab a chair and watch the large variety of birds, frogs, turtles, ducks and more.

This cottage has a lot to offer. It has everything you might need in a home away from home. From outside space to enjoy or the kids to play. To a game room and board games. My family, including young kids, greatly enjoyed our stay.

WMU visit

We had a short stay at the cottage to visit family for WMU homecoming weekend and had a lovely stay. The game room was such fun, cottage was clean and vey well appointed, very family friendly. We were in town spending some time visiting family in the Portage area. The house was a very convenient location for us with a nice view of the lake. It was very clean and while there isn’t a washer/dryer the home is very well stocked with plenty of towels as well as everything you would need! Thank you for the great accommodations!

Winter weekend getaway

The cabin was so cute and cozy. Everything was updated and very clean and organized. They provided everything we could need, kitchen was well equipped and there are even baskets of things you may have forgotten, and plenty of games. We especially enjoyed the coffee station and the game room. Our teens and 20-21 year olds all enjoyed the game room and we all fit on the big couch to watch movies. The view of the lake was beautiful. If we were staying for a week, we would want laundry machines, but the owners provided lots of towels, so we could probably make it work. Alsoit was convenient that we could park in the garage. The back yard, fire pit and new deck were very nice, though we didn't get to use them as it was too cold.
